On arrival we were informed there was new owners & the following Monday they were commencing a 3 month renovation of the complex. As a result there was no restaurant, no bar & no golf course. There was in fact no kitchen to cook anything. We had to drive at least 15 minutes to find anything for our 3 evening meals. I spoken to the new owners 7 they apologised for the conditions. They informed me they had contacted Expedia & wanted to cancel all bookings during this refurbishment period. They informed me Expedia would not allow this. Expedia should have at least contacted us & inform us of the situation & given us the option of cancelling on not. Under the conditions of the booking we could cancel up to 24 hours before but on arrival we couldn't without loosing our money. We received no discount for the lack of facilities The staff did what they could to make our stay at least 1/2 comfortable.
