Walking distance to Duomo

Posted 12-Jul-2016
The personal was nice and the room was comfy with a big bathroom. We walked everyday and never took the subway, which I felt was a good thing. The subway was extremly near so no problem taking it if we wanted too. The internet tended to die at around 10, and it was hard to take a shower without the floor getting totally wet since the seal around the bathtub/shower had holes in it.

Centrally located hotel, short work from Duomo

Posted 23-May-2016
Pros: Central location, with excellent transport links. Comfortable room. Good breakfast.
Cons: Reception staff could be more welcoming and helpful. Lift capacity.
Location: Less than 5 minute walk to Duomo, and main shopping area is walkable, or a few stops on the metro.
Pleasant city centre hotel, a short walk from Piazza del Duomo in Milan, and very close to a Metro underground train stop. Room was comfortable, and quiet. Only major issue was with key card that operated door and lights - not unusual in itself - but it had a chip system, which they never bothered to tell us about on reception. It was dark when we arrived, and we ended up setting alarms off in an attempt to get the card to work with the lights. Frustrating when you are on a higher floor, and have to go all the way back down to reception for help. Staff on reception were a bit surly - but that seems to be the norm in Milan. Staff in restaurant & at breakfast were however very pleasant & efficient. Breakfast was very good, and we tried the restaurant for dinner one night and had an excellent meal, and not overpriced. Wasn't that impressed with the terrace bar though - it didn't help that the hotel had hired out most of it for a private party, when we visited it, leaving very little room for hotel guests. Only bothered with the once, and wouldn't again. The only other criticism - lift/elevator capacity is inadequate for the size of the hotel and the numbers of people trying to use it. Ended up having to use the stairs most of the time.

Pros: The location to the important sites around Italy.
Cons: Provide rooms with extra towels to help with the shower issue. Also fix the ceiling fan.
Location: It's about half a kilometer from the Duomo
The hotel was in a good area, and allowed us to easily access the different sights. However, our room on the third floor and the sound was able to carry up and disturb our slumber. Additionally the bathroom shower was very uncomfortable to use because there was no way to stand properly in it. When using the shower, water sprayed everywhere and created a mess which then caused the floor to be wet for a long period after using it. The ceiling fan also did not function properly to speed up the process of drying the floor or reducing the steam.

Super Hotel im Zentrum

Posted 12-May-2016

Gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Posted 09-May-2016
