The condo was very nice and a great view. Kitchen had good supplies and location of the condo is great. Very busy resort type location. So lots of people checking in and around the facility at all times. Just so you are prepared for a lot of people around.

The amenities were excellent, the only issue, was we were caught by surprise with the mandatory valet parking. Also,we were not made aware of the need to contact the host for extra towels, and other necessities. So we were fortunate to have packed extra towels and other things. To accommodate for the stay.

Very nice modern condo. Clean and new. Nicely stocked kitchen. Everything we needed for a quick getaway. Spectacular view from the huge balcony. Large pool area on the 9th floor. The beach right where they have the chairs and umbrellas is a little narrow and the chairs are pretty close together but not a big deal. Two of the best restaurants in the area are right there. There is also a nice Argentinian bakery close by. Also a Wal-Mart you can easily walk to. Note that there is an additional per person/per night resort fee.

The unit was the perfect size for my family of 3. They had a pack and play in the closet for my 1 year old which worked out great. You can see the ocean and the intercoastal canal & city from the balcony which makes the view great.

The location was perfect, the access was easy and the check in was easy. Loved the apartment and the view and all the amenities it had to offer. The apartment was clean, and very spacious. Great spot

Second visit to this complex. Property overall is really great. We spent most of the time by the pool, and the attendants are always nice. Small pool toys seem to be ok as long as you are not bothering other people. Elevators can get crowded but if you go into it knowing that, the wait times aren’t bad. There are plenty of Rideshare services available so you do not need a car. There is a brand new Publix just 0.5 miles north on A1A and easily walkable.

We really enjoyed our time here. The building and pool area are beautiful. Lyfe personnel were all very nice and helpful. For the room, the bed is firm, but ok. We weren't able to find bedding for the couch, but it was fine. The kitchen had everything we could have needed. We didn't cook, but we could have! One thing that was bothersome, is that there could have more hooks for hanging things and there is NO full length mirror...at all. No mirror in the bedroom, at all. So if someone was in the bathroom, no one else can do hair or make up in another area. It's an easy fix, add a full length mirror and another mirror somewhere else... and some hooks. Even still, I would stay here again. Thank you!!

Room was clean but a few things needs a little attention. The toliet wouldn't flush and the bathroom sink filled with water. Which made it hard to use. The dryer door wouldn't shut so we were usable to use it. Remote control wouldn't work. They also forgot to leave linings for the pull out. So we had to strip the master bed for the pull out. They did bring lining the next day, but still no blanket just sheets. We greatly appreciate the host for doing what she could do at the time. The views were amazing. Just need to do some updates on the unit.

The unit had plenty of space and a lovely view. Kitchen worked well, although it could use more pots/pans if you plan on cooking meals there over a longer stay. Some reviews have complained about the elevators, but only once did we have a long wait around 10:30 in the morning. The beach was very crowded but that was to be expected around spring break time. The pool area was nice, but was also crowded on a nice day and it could be hard to find a spot. The building seemed pretty secure. You need your key to access elevators and you have to scan your key to get to your floor. Valet parking wasn't as big of a pain as I thought it might be. They give you a card with a QR code, and you text them 15 minutes before you need the car. There are very few stores or restaurants nearby off of A1A, besides those in the the hotels, but there are plenty a couple miles away. Overall, we enjoyed the place and would book it again.

Mixed Feelings

This review has 2 parts - first, the actual room was absolutely gorgeous and the view is exactly as is shown from the expansive balcony. There are no complaints here, we really enjoyed spending time in this room. Second, the actual property at Hyde Resort had much to be desired. The elevators were a nightmare, sometimes we had to wait 20+ minutes to go down 29 floors. The ID bracelets were quite invasive and were required to be worn at all times on the property under threat of a fine. The towel cards were required for the pool and beach, which provided 2 chairs and an umbrella. Again, there was the threat of a fine if this was lost or if towels were not returned. Shirts, shoes, tops were required in the lobby, again the threat of a fine if this was not adhered to. There were days I really had to think about if I wanted to wait for the elevator to go to the beach or pool, walking down 29 flights was not even an option. In closing, the room received a 9.5 and the actual property received a generous 6.
