Nice cabin but…….
The actual cabin/structure itself was stunning and very comfortable. The gravel road though was extremely narrow and the driveway was a night mare. Especially for a full size pick up truck. Had to back down the driveway after having to do an 80 point turn around the 1st time. The temp dropped into the 30’s so being able to use the fireplace would have been awesome. But…. It would not light. Went outside to try to use the fire pit but it was full of ashes and unusable due to the amount of debris left. Overall it was a nice cabin but not very convenient to get in and out of. The down town area was nice and we had a lot of fun there. Nice, but won’t go back.

Not what it seems, and not clean
We were very disappointed with this property. It’s rather small, but the pictures make it look much larger. You walk into a small kitchen and small living room, then there are 2 bedrooms, that’s it. The outside was pretty dirty. There was garbage all over the driveway when we pulled in. The porch was full of debris and leaves. The creek is a long steep walk. Not much river bank to use. The lower level lights were on a timer so could not turn on/off. The camera On the porch kept taking photos of us. Also, do not use google/Apple Maps to get there. Use the written directions.

Nice place to stay.
Nice and clean place to stay. Nice views over looking the river. Kinda difficult to find and the roads are rough. But for the price and location to mccaysville, Ga and copperhill, Tn you can’t beat it. Very quiet and peaceful. No traffic at all

Breathtaking
This was the first time since I completed my breast cancer journey 3 years ago that my husband and two teens got away ffor vacation. This was exactly what we needed. This property is beautiful. The boys and I enjoyed the trip down to the river multiple times. Kept them off their electronics and me spending time with them. The fire pit is in the perfect spot. We even enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin and property truly is amazing. We enjoyed our stay and did not want to come home.

Lovely view.
Nice house with a great view. We really enjoyed the secluded home and the use of the fire pit in the yard. Especially liked the rocking chairs on the front porch.

Hornets and unpaved roads, but all else is great
Cabin was definitely in a more remote area than anticipated; the road leading up to the cabin is not paved, has fairly deep ruts and is suited to cars that are lifted and with high profile tires. The hill leading into the property is also extremely steep and will cause most front bumpers to scrape. Having this in the advertisement would be strongly recommended. The other issue to be aware of is that the cabin has European hornets. They're not aggressive but certainly off-putting and very large. These are active at night and hung out near the ceiling light right outside the cabin door. Another thing that should absolutely be mentioned in the listing description. Minus the hornets and unpaved road, everything else was lovely.
