We had a wonderful, peaceful weekend at Timber Cabin. We were visiting our daughter at Ohio University. The drive to Athens was easy and beautiful. We loved the quiet mornings on the front porch were a nice change of pace from our daily lives. Cassi was very responsive to our questions and lovely to work with. We will definitely stay here again!

Relaxing stay!
Booked Goshen Place last minute for 2 days of a holiday weekend trip for a family of 4. We were looking for a something off the beaten path and it certainly delivered. There are a few other properties in the area, but if you're on the back porch as we were for nearly the entire stay, you'll feel like you have hundreds of acres all to yourself. The cabin is rustic and well-equipped. Owners were very quick with communication and very flexible allowing us early check in. Great stay, and we will be back. Thank you!

Cabin is great. We rented the cabin for hunting, the 8' fence around the perimeter of the property drastically hinders natural deer movement. The place would dynamite if that fence was taken down.

Very impressive cabin!
A couple friends and myself stayed here after an 8 mile hike through hocking hills and I have to say, the quality of this cabin is incredible. Apart from the 300 acres of land to explore, the cabin itself has been very nicely maintained by the owner, everything about the cabin feels “expensive” such as the flooring they’ve used, the cabinets, the layout. We didn’t expect it to be this nice when we booked it, and it did not disappoint.

Great cabin with beautiful views!
We loved our one-night stay at this beautiful cabin! We were looking for a quick getaway with our adult children before school started up and wanted to do some hiking and other outdoor activities. This cabin was just a short drive to Hocking Hills state park and just about 10 minutes from Racoon Outfitters where we went kayaking. Owner was extremely friendly and responsive to any/all questions leading up to our visit. Great communication. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. Very clean inside and out and plenty of space for the five of us. Comfortable beds and furniture and everything we needed for cooking meals - zero complaints! Absolutely breathtaking views especially during sunset/sunrise. We would definitely return to this cabin for a longer stay!
