The hotel was not registered with hotels.com. scammers cloned the page and took my money. i had cycled 80 miles on a charity ride to get there. I called customer service who wasted 30 minutes of my time. The sun was setting and all accommodation was booked so I had to cycle somewhere else in very hilly countryside. I was unable to find somewhere to stay and ended up sleeping rough. Very uncomfortable. Customer services didn't understand what I was saying and kept repeating that the hotel was full. I was then passed onto another person for them to startagain. With the same questions.
I called again today and received a voucher for £50 from a helpful lady but no refund. I am very unhappy with the service I've received.
Perfect location but the owners were very brisk in manner. Check out time changed from 10:30 as stated on booking to 10am. The change to the breakfast order to omit items caused the owner to roll eyes !
Pleasant stay in this nice hotel in a lovely village.
Only problem was expecting car parking as per the web site but there is none .nearest is 750 metres up a hill and at £12 per day!
