When is the best time to go to Longlands?

The best time to visit Longlands is during the late spring to early autumn months, from May to September. During this period, you'll experience the most agreeable weather, with warmer temperatures and longer daylight hours, superb for exploring the stunning natural beauty of the area. This allows for comfortable enjoyment of outdoor activities such and walks along the coastline or through the nearby countryside. For those who enjoy outdoor pursuits, late spring and early summer (May to July) are particularly good. The countryside is lush, and the days are at their longest, ideal for hiking, cycling, and visiting local gardens. You'll find the local markets bustling with fresh produce and artisan crafts. Couples looking for a relaxing escape might prefer September. The weather is often still mild, but the main summer crowds have dispersed, leading to a more peaceful experience. It's a lovely time for romantic strolls along the beach or enjoying a quiet meal at a local inn.

8/10 Good

"Great location easy to catch the metro into central London or to O2. There was plenty of restaurants near by in all price ranges. The rooms and beds were tiny considering its an apartment hotel. No point in cooking as you there was no room to sit and eat, the option of cooking was why we choose this hotel, so a bit disappointed when we saw the size of the room. Bathroom was ok and it was quiet even on the weekend. All in all a good option if you don’t mind the size."

Bluedaws Private Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"In all our travels we have never found such a delightful staff and such kindness! We thought it would be a dorm with bunk beds and shared bathroom experience but it was actually a Victorian residence with glossy white bannisters, pristine bathrooms aplenty, and thick wall to wall, traditional carpeting that was so clean and soft underfoot and luxurious! True, the rooms had red bunk beds but they were really comfortable and the linens were great quality. The neighborhood is a couple of blocks to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, and 2 blocks from restaurants and local Pubs. The highlight was the staff, obviously chosen by the owner who has been managing this residence for over 50 years! They treated us like family and I noted how each guest was treated with such respect. When I left my wallet at the restaurant nearby they insisted on going in personally to see if it had been found. We had a plane to catch and the restaurant was closed until late afternoon. A staff member told us she would go when they opened and email us if it had been found or not. They found it and mailed it first thing in the morning to our home in Canada! I would recommend this establishment to anyone. They are the kind of people who make travel so meaningful! 10 stars for this marvellous place!"
