Although this property is close to Canary Wharf, this is its biggest asset with little else going for it, it could however be so much more.

Poor state of cleanliness and repair

The apartment no 5 we stayed in was in a fairly shocking state. Stains on the walls, cobwebs, stained towels, bathroom in poor state of repair, rubbish on bedroom floor, heaters not working.

Pretty good and cheaper than local hotel options

These apartments are very good overall but lack the little extras which would make them more comparable to a hotel stay - no soap, no milk cartons etc. Beware of the weird feeling of being alone in a huge strange empty apartment!

Poor conditions

Wi-fi password was not working, I asked but didn't get a reply. The bathrooms had no light switches that I had to keep the door open to have light. Water kettle was in limescale, not de-scaled for a long time. Extra check-in fee for late check-in (none of the hotels/apartments I have stayed in London had that)

Hotellet i sig selv og området var godt. Men der hvor vi "tjekkede" ind, var ikke der hvor vi skulle sove. Så da vi havde hentet vores nøgle, blev vi henvist til et helt andet sted (ca 10 min gang fra hotellets adr). Vi fik et velkomst brev hvori der stod at vi dagen efter skulle skifte værelse, og at der ville komme en kl 11. Super træls at skulle sidde og vente på at dette skete. På det første hotelværelse var der toiletartikler, det var der ikke på det andet.

Close to services & safe

We stayed here for 8 days and used it as home base for a variety of tours and outings. It was very easy to get to the London Underground, and just a short ride to train stations including London Bridge and Waterloo. The apartment was in a newish building, perhaps fifteen or so years old. It had a full kitchen, including a washing machine, though the washer was challenging to use because there was no manual and the management was unable to provide accurate instructions. Notwithstanding, the kitchen was well-equipped and we cooked nearly all our meals here, or made lunches to take with us - this was how we helped keep our vacation affordable. However, it should be noted that we did feel the need to perform a very thorough cleaning of the kitchen before first use as it still had some "artifacts" from the prior tenant. Our "flat" had two washrooms, one for the main bedroom, and another for the rest of the apartment. The managers provided a set of towels, though surprisingly would not provide any clean replacements for the duration of our stay, except at added cost. Same policy for the bed sheets. We did get bath and dish soap after asking several times. One irritation involved the "damage deposit." Zen Apartments would not accept a credit card and insisted on cash or wire transfer. Then, at check out, the manager announced she had not received payment from Expedia and would not refund the deposit until said payment had been received. This was a hardship.

Tolles Appartment, optimal für Events in der O2

Die Appartements sind sehr für Gäste der O2 Arena und Greenwich zu empfehlen. Nach Westminster benötigt man ca 30 Minuten per underground. Sehr gut fanden wir die Grösse des Appartements und die Ausstattung. Sauberkeit war ok, Zimmerservice während des Aufenthalts gab es keinen. Äusserst kompliziert gestaltete sich der Check-in, da nirgends eine Rezeption aufzufinden bzw ausgeschrieben ist. Erst nachdem man anruft kommt ein Mitarbeiter und öffnet einem die Tür. Die Check-in Regularien sind auch sehr streng, insbesondere die doch sehr teuren Aufschläge für zu spätes anreisen. WLAN war zwar vorhanden, aber nicht nutzbar.
