Convenient Location

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast room was small and food was uninspiring
Location: Ideally located in the west End near to Chinatown, lots of restaurants nearby and Theatreland.
Welcoming staff and it was within walking distance of theatres and shopping.

Convenient, Modern and Friendly

Posted 13-Aug-2015
Pros: Convenient location, good value for money compared to other hotels of a similar standard, very modern, clean room and very helpful, friendly staff.
Cons: The only thing I could possibly suggest would be to speed up the check-in process.
Location: It's right in the centre of everything so, for example, Pall Mall and Leicester Square are only a short walk away. If you like shopping, it's ideal.
Staff were very friendly throughout my stay. The only criticism I could possibly make is that the room was small but it was very clean, modern and well-appointed with a Nespresso coffee machine, complimentary bottled water, tea/coffee/biscuits and, most importantly, a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was excellent with plenty of fresh towels and sundries; and unlike many hotels, extra sundries can be provided on request and are complimentary.

Newly refurbished hotel, lovely room.

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Pros: Modern, clean and lovely room. Staff were very helpful.
Cons: Larger breakfast area so customers could select their own fruit. Laid out portions were too big.
Location: Excellent location for theatres and easy walking distance to many attractions. We just walked everywhere. China town across the road.
This hotel looks newly refurbished inside, although the outside needs to make more of an impact. It looks like work inside may still be going on behind a discretely boarded up area off reception. Our room was very modern and luxurious - loved the 4 poster bed and bathroom facilities. Service was excellent too and staff very helpful. Didn't use the spa area. Breakfast room was a bit cramped, but we wondered whether this was a temporary room whilst another area was being re-furbished. Cooked breakfast was good. The fruit and yogurt bowls were ready made up and too large for what I would normally eat, so I didn't bother rather than waste it. We would stay there again.

24th wedding Anniversary almost spoilt

Posted 26-Jul-2015
Pros: Not a lot, very expensive for what it was. I wish I hade more characters in the 'Write about your experience' box. to say how I really felt.
Cons: Too much to mention here.
Location: It was the location that made me chose this hotel. A mistake that I won't make again.
Booked as a one off, half price for a night , might be something special, wish we gone for a holiday inn The reception staff were helpful so this is no way a reflection on them, we were told that we were being moved to their sister hotel in Marble Arch. I informed them that that was no good to us as I had booked to go and see Miss Saigon on Friday night and Les Mis on the Saturday. Then she told me there was a problem with the card I used to pay as it was rejected as it was expired. She said that we should have been informed about it, no email, text, call, I gave her the same card as said try again, no problems. She then found a room we could use, room 503 On entering the room I was somewhat taken aback on the size for the wrong reason. The Queen size bed was just a normal double bed, no room for a chair, when you were sat on the loo your knees touched the bath panel and the side wall, the packets for the vanity pack and others were stained. After returning from Miss Saigon it was then noticeable how noisy the room was, tried calling reception, no good, so I went downstairs to see the duty manager. He said that there was sorry about the noise but nothing he could do as they were full for the night, so I asked for a full refund for my room, when, out of nowhere he managed to conjure up another room that we could move into, room 110. We moved at 00:20, the room was quieter, we realised that the hotel knows that the rooms are noisy, each bedside draw has a packet of earplugs

Close to everything!

Posted 23-Jul-2015
Pros: Friendly staff, modern rooms, close to tube station
Cons: The hotel is still under going some renovations and updating, but it wasn't an issue with our stay.
Location: This hotel is in the middle of the theater district, across the street from China Town, and a short walk to Picadilly Circus. Tube station close by.

Great location, pretty good experience.

Posted 22-Jun-2015
Pros: Location. Helpful staff
Cons: Room facilities: a washbasin with plug, a kettle, a desk and a chair.
Location: Close to everything that Shaftesbury Avenue, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus have to offer.
The hotel is in the middle of a refit. Our room was very fresh, clean and modern. Some of the designer features are impractical. Comfortable bed and plenty of space in room. Washbasin has no provision for a plug so washing and shaving have to be in running water. I used one of the tumblers as a shaving mug. The dressing tavble is very small and the stool is the only seat in the room; there is room for a larger desk and a comfortable chair or two. Coffee machine is inn wardrobe and difficult to operate. Kettle is provided on request. Overall, we would stay again.
