In the midst of West End action

Posted 11-Apr-2017
Lovely small hotel right in the middle of the West End Theater District. Our room on the street was noisy with the windows open, but with windows and drapes closed it was comfortably quiet for sleeping. Immaculate, nicely furnished; fresh fruit, tea and biscuits, coffee all in room and complimentary. Staff was exceedingly pleasant. Welcome prosecco or soft drink at all times in the lobby. Lovely and convenient.

Excellent central hotel and staff

Posted 09-Mar-2017
Pros: The Piccadilly, staff very welcoming, modern with every amenity you could need. Free upgrade for birthday, cake & balloons. Very quiet, clean, perfect
Cons: Nothing.
Location: The Piccadilly is only a few doors away from the Queens Theatre - Les Miserable in Shaftesbury Avenue. China town opposite, Plenty to do.
We travelled to London to celebrate my partners birthday. Staying for two nights and to see Les Miserable at the theatre. From the minute we walked into the entrance until the time we departed our time at The Piccadilly Hotel was excellent. Not sure why it is rated 3.8 it deserves 5. We did not use the restaurant but the room was fantastic, clean and attention to detail. We would choose to stay here again. Value for money 5 out of 5 all the way. Maria at reception and all the staff were amazing.

A very comfortable overnight stay.

Posted 03-Mar-2017
Pros: The hotel provides a level of service and comfort that more than matches its price range.
On arrival I was warmly greeted by the staff with a welcoming glass of Prosecco. The bedroom was very comfortable with lots of nice little touches, such as water (still and sparkling), fruit and an excellent choice of teas and coffees. A very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. The breakfast was good value and well served. All the staff were very polite and made a special effort to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. A very well run hotel where I would happily stay again.

Great hotel!

Location: Everything is close by to this hotel. You can't get a better located hotel.
We arrived mid day and the staff were exceptional at welcoming us and accommodating my "special arrival request" in the room. Very friendly and engaging. The location is perfect and rooms were comfortable, clean and nicely appointed. I would have rated the facilities a 5 but we did have to change rooms due to a fuse shortage in our first room that wasn't able to be fixed. The second room was lovely and we received a bottle of prosecco and box of chocolates and lots of apologies for the inconvenience, which was very nice. Highly recommend this hotel!

Good location rubbish room

Posted 27-Feb-2017
The hotel room (511)should never have been a double, no cuboard space to hang jackets or dresses without folding under. No shelf or anywhere to put your wash bags. The reasturant is never worthy of a five star status, more like a street cafe. Very poor, never stay again.

Conveniently located and excellent service

Posted 27-Feb-2017 on Hotels
Conveniently located between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square tube stations near China Town, Theaterland and Trafalgar Square (located in the soho district). Small rooms but well appointed with heated bathroom floors. A very nice breakfast was included in our room rate that offered vegan and vegetarian options. In-room WiFi and a mobile device was available for use free of charge.

very kind helpful staff

Posted 21-Feb-2017
Pros: The quietness, the cosiness and the ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC STAFF
Cons: Nothing could be improved it was beyond perfect.
Location: The Mousetrap is 5 minutes walk away, it's the longest running West End show.
This was a special visit I'd got for my son, I phoned ahead and told the staff and they were so kind and helpful. We had a bit of confusion over the payment which the staff were really efficient in helping me with. My son was greeted with a slice of birthday cake and happy birthday balloons and petals on his bed, it felt like the staff were going the extra mile to make sure the stay was special. There were other little touches too that made the stay extra special. We are so grateful to the staff for making the stay so amazing. The hotel itself is lovely - as soon as you step into reception it is as if you are in a different world compared to the noisy street outside, it is so plush and quiet and calm. The room also was lovely, well appointed, lovely coffee machine, and again, so quiet and peaceful, you could not hear anything from the street below. Although it is the most I've ever paid for a hotel room I felt it was worth every penny. I highly recommend it as a quiet calm hideaway in the centre of the west end. If you want to spoil yourself in London I think this would be the place.

Update frontage photo!

Posted 19-Feb-2017 on Hotels
Excellent location for theatres, however, when searching for the hotel on our arrival after spending 1 hour walking the streets with suitcases, we discovered the external pictures of the hotel have not been updated, so was searching aimlessly! Nice greeting on arrival with free prosecco and happy to move us to a room with a bath tub on request.

Pleasantly suprised

Posted 17-Feb-2017
Pros: The prosecco at check-in was a nice touch!
Location: Great location close to many shops, theatres restaurants and attractions
The location is excellent for Soho, and whilst the room was quite small it had everything one could possibly need, and we would stay here again.
