The address I was given by owner did not exist. I then found a link from VRBO (after calling them for assistance) that told me to pick up the keys at a remote location. I found that convenience store in the rain while dragging luggage with me, but I still had no correct address or apt#! Called the owner and got a message that their phone was turned off! Called VRBO and was officially designated as “stranded” by them. Then the owner finally called and we were given address and apt number. I would never book a VRBO where I’m not given the address where I’m staying before I leave on my trip. My phone was working but I could not open my VRBO app while standing in the rain. In preparation for such problems I always carry my paperwork with addresses, but in this case it was the wrong address! Very frustrating. The place inside was fine but the exterior was very sketchy in my opinion. Run down, older building is not what I was expecting.
