The check-in required me to call the after-hours desk, even though I arrived during their listed opening hours, but this is likely because of Coronavirus. Each of the staff members that I met was very kind, and it was easy to extend my stay. I had tried calling (using their public number) and emailing before my check-in with some questions, but never received a response.
The cleanliness was both good and bad. Overall, the beds, sheets, and utilities were clean. However, there is a 3-cm gap between the desk and the window, and it was completely full of trash - dirty tissues, food wrappers, several TV remotes, etc. My headphones fell into the gap, and I had to reach into that disgusting abyss to fish them out. I ended up removing a lot of the trash for them in the process, but there is still trash there. Also, no handsoap was provided in the bathrooms, which was surprising considering the pandemic. Fortunately, there is a Sainsbury's very close by, where I was able to purchase soap.
