good hotel for British Museum
Lovely characterful hotel, however, our room wasn't ready for us when we arrived -we waited an hour. The room was clean and comfortable, except that the double bed wasn't a double bed -it was a bit narrow which meant poor nights'sleep. The window was not double glazed which meant the noise from the people in the pub behind us kept us awake.
The walk from the lift was hard for my husband, but that was our fault as it was the only room with a bath apparently.
Breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again, but we would make sure of being near the lift, and perhaps would upgrade to a superior double -which would hopefully have a bigger bed !!
