Comfy, cozy hotel in historic neighborhorhood

I stayed in the hotel for business, for 8 nights. Despite there being people in rooms next to, across from and above me - I barely heard a peep. Since I am a light sleeper, this was a wonderful experience. The bed and pillows were wonderful; the room was nicely decorated and comfy; the Aveda toiletries were great; and there was a minimum of outside noise. The hotel is located in a wonderful, historic neighborhood, with lots of nearby restaurants and little grocery stores within walking distance. It is also located close to the tube and to the DLR. The breakfast options were good (I recommend the City Breakfast package). I would definitely stay here again.
Only negatives: relatively limited TV-watching options, including no U.S. news channels or premium movie channels; the food for the room service is o.k. but nothing great; the staff in the restaurant is friendly but unevenly trained.
