Great location but patronising staff
The first room we were given was very small, dated and extremely hot. We completed an Expedia survey that was sent to us the morning after our first night stating the above. Next thing we know we had a phone call from reception offering us a different room, we appreciated and accepted the offer.
However when we went down to accept our new room the staff were far from helpful or understanding, we were quizzed about why we had given a bad review even though we had only answered the questions we asked factually. Then every time we went past reception we were pestered to change our review making us feel incredibly uncomfortable. This left me dreading leaving or entering the hotel.
Therefore, as requested, I will change my review:
The new room although much better and perfectly fine, wasn't anything special and the hotel staff were unsympathetic, defensive and overbearing.
