Excellent break
Excellent and prompt communication with owner, who contacted us to make sure we had got in and everything was ok. comfortable beds, clean and tidy. Ideal and Quiet location. fish and chip shop and local store within walking distance. We all had a great time Thank you

Lovely experience
All in all had an amazing experience, Rion is a very friendly and extremely communicative host. The house is even better in person. Very clean, everything was great! Couldn’t have asked for any better. Thanks Rion.

Misleading listing
The pictures were misleading. The outside images were put on to trick customers into thinking they were renting a modern, new build property. The property is an old ex-MOD style. Not part of the St Andrews development and not anything like the front image provided in the listing. I contacted the host and was told “I only legally have to provide a picture of the development” Following this I texted the host and asked if the images of the inside of the property are of the property we will be staying in. His response, “Yes, of course”. They were of the property, but the property was not furnished in the way the images showed it to be. There was no toilet roll holder in either bathroom, this is a basic item in any property. The was no buffet with the sofa as pictured. The sofa was not big enough for 6 people. The kitchen had no breakfast table, despite pictured. The crockery was severely lacking only just enough for 6. The description boasts a washing machine, this was not in a good state and mould was growing within the door seal. The 1st bedroom was not pictured, but similarly to the other two rooms, there was a low-quality bed and side table along with a single wardrobe. In the 2nd bedroom the image showed a TV and 2 chests of drawers. Neither were in it and all that remained was a buffet from the sofa downstairs. The large wardrobe was there but half unusable as it was storing spare linen and a mattress topper. In the 3rd room, the wardrobe was smaller and there was no drawer unit at the side of the bed. There was a cheap side table with a lamp. In all bedrooms the images depicted metal beds with reasonably deep mattresses, the beds were much more rudimentary. The pillows were poor, and there is one per person if you have 6 people in the house. In bedrooms 2 and 3 the curtains did not fit the window at all. The description describes car parking is for 4 cars, it’s barley big enough for 2 On arrival were no instructions, we had to ask where to put the rubbish and was told to use the flats’ bins opposite. There was no inventory list and therefore it was missed that the hairdryer was missing. This was rectified the next day. Since arriving back, I have noticed that the images have been changed to better reflect the property, the living room image is still not accurate. I would not book this property again. The host clearly cannot be trusted as he blatantly lied to me initially and admitted he had posted inaccurate images.
