Located in a historic and charming building, totally refurbished in 2018\. With a great location, between the viewpoint of Portas do Sol (Alfama) and Graça viewpoint, 2 minutes walk from the famous tram 28 and 5 minutes walk from the Castle. Great to discover the city center. APARTMENT \- Very spacious, luxurious and unique. Completely new, charming and bright with great light on a 3rd Floor (without lift); \- Private garden with an amazing heated and salted water swimming pool, belonging exclusively to the apartment. BUILDING Historic building from the XIX century (without lift), between the Graça and Castle neighborhoods, fully restored in 2018). OTHER INFORMATION: \- June 10th is Portugal Day (a national holiday) and June 13th is Saint Anthony’s Day, a public holiday in Lisbon. This is one of the liveliest times of the year, with street parties happening all over the city until dawn, especially in the oldest and most historic neighborhoods. Alfama and the Castle area, where the apartment is located, are right at the heart of the celebrations. Expect live music, dancing, food stalls, and lots of people in the streets. The festivities usually last about a week, with the busiest nights being June 9th–10th and June 12th–13th, as well as the surrounding weekends. The apartment has double-glazed soundproof windows and it is on a European third floor, but on these nights the square outside turns into a true open-air party, with loud music until early morning, so it could be noisier than usual. If you love vibrant nightlife and want to experience Lisbon at its most festive, this is a great time to stay. If you’re looking for quiet nights and rest, we recommend choosing different dates or choosing one of our apartments located in other neighborhoods. \- Apartment not suitable for children under 10 years. \- We prepare the house with all our care, attention to detail and tailored to our guests. Decorated with care, well maintained and spacious. Everything was as advertised and more. The outdoor space was great to have a cocktail or a swim after a long day of walking. Very conveniently located to get around to everything whether it's Praça de Comércio, Sao Jao Castle or Avenida de Liberdade. But the best part was the house manager Pedro who was one of top host we have delt with. The most organized ever for sure and always responsive, ready to help you. The property is perfect, I work in interior design and the eye for detail these owners have is exceptional! The small garden and pool are a welcome retreat from the bustle of the city. The folder of information is clearly laid out with details of all the local amenities a massive benefit if your new to the city. We were lucky that Bruno could be flexible with our check out which we were grateful for, he even organised our transport to and from the airport. The apartment is in a great location easy access to the trams and buses and very close to the castle. All in all I cant find fault with this property and the guys that care for it and their guests. Excellent hosts. I travel a lot and visited Lisbon a lot of times, so I can consider myself as an expert :-) I must say that Ana and her apartment were the best ever. Location is superb, just in the heart of the historical center of Lisbon, great to discover the city by walking, very close to Alfama, the castle and with so many good places to eat, amazing viewpoints, and yet in a very quiet, safe and truly local surrounding. Close at hand you can find everything you might want, such as grocery, supermarket, pharmacies, wine bars, several cafes, just everything you need. Talking about the apartment itself, it was spotlessly clean, spacious, decorated with a very good taste and has all the necessary equipment, iron, washer and drier, dishwasher, air conditioner in every room, nice tableware and Nespresso machine. We had very good sleep there, the bedding was very comfortable. The best part was to have a drink in the private garden and the temperature of the swimming pool was just perfect! Ana was super friendly! She was in the apartment waiting for us with freshly cooked pasteis de nata and some port wine! If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in Lisbon, this is the place! I am sure that I will return to this apartment. ##### Adam R. They were waiting for me with a wonderful portuguese tart and port wine and they answered all my questions and gave me very good suggestions. The apartment is very well furnished, with a rare design that I had never met until today in my many trips. The location is very good. Near the castle and downtown.
