I'd probably choose a different place if I was to go again (it was picked mostly for the hot tub) but it was a good location to spend time at the canal and lake. The beds were comfortable and we had a good time exploring nearby places like the Hama Hama Oyster Saloon. The house has no wi-fi and cell service is spotty. Make sure to download maps or directions before you get there. The road to the house is windy and steep, it was a little confusing since some turnoffs were not indicated on Google maps. It could have been a bit cleaner but nothing crazy. It was pretty stormy while we were there and lost power twice so be prepared. It was super cozy though and secluded. Everything was pretty great, we were just a little disappointed with the hot tub and no Wi-Fi. The hot tub was a little dirty and the chemicals were a little much. Firstly, we booked this house mainly for the hot tub. However the hot tub cover is broken in multiple areas which means it doesn't get as hot as it should.
