The hotel has a pleasing view of the harbour, a great breakfast buffet, and the free parking was very welcome. The decoration is a tad dated, but it is all to a good standard and relaxing. I want to give a special nod to the catering staff who managed the breakfasts as well as the cleaning staff--they were very friendly and accommodating. Our only minor quibble was that the front desk staff could be a bit brusque (for example, we felt like we asked a stupid question when we asked where the valet parked our car). The hotel offers a free shuttle service bus to downtown but it’s also nice to walk down the stairs and reach the centre in few minutes. The breakfast is super rich and tasty. We arrived at 1 a.m and the only think we wanted was going to sleep but we had to wait 30 minutes in the reception, after switching on the AC, to wait the room becoming cooler. Other guests left the hotel for this reason.
