Once at the property we were able to grab dinner play some shuffleboard and settle into a wonderful cabin. Perfect for a stay beautiful bathroom and heated floors. Lived all the details. The cabin was very well appointed, unbelievably clean, fluffy towels and felt more luxurious than expected. We used this as our base to hike Crater Lake and check out the area, which was wonderful! Resort is quite a ways from the nearest restaurant and only a microwave to heat food so be prepared especially when restaurant at resort is closed Monday and Tuesday nights with exception of Monday night football openings. We weren’t there to fish or swim, but resort is beautiful and I found myself wishing we were there when it was warmer and open to have dinner and a drink on the deck and enjoy the lake.. Evidently the power goes out a lot, which then necessitates resetting cable we never did get the TV to work, but that’s not a dealbreaker for us at all, but thought I would mention it. Tried to rent a boat but we couldn't coordinate since it was closed. Wifi was very frustrating going on and off. Great area for kayaking and bird watching. This was perfect. Very quiet, peaceful natural surroundings. The room was very clean, comfortable, well designed, and built with aesthetic choices that went way beyond what you'd expect in a rental cabin -- like the amazing bathroom and beautiful tile work. Also, the staff we encountered were very friendly. We ate once in the restaurant and expected a long wait, based on comments here, but the service was fast and Cobb salad delicious. Only a couple suggestions we'd make: It would have been nice to have a real table in the room. At one point we brought in the outdoor side table from the balcony. It is very small but helped. This was a nice cabin, clean and quite area. The check-in process goes like this, you have to go down to the restaurant and find the owner to get the key. Nice old man who seems to have his hands full with managing this place. We lost power twice while we were here with normal weather, not sure what that was about but be aware you might encounter this. It was not that bad as the outside temps were nice. A few things to keep in mind, we visited during the off season and the restaurant is only open on Friday and Saturday. Our stay was Tuesday - Friday so we did not get to eat at the restaurant. There are limited food options in this area so be prepared for that as well, Klamath Falls is about a 45 min drive one way. There is a convenience a few miles down the road we visited a few times. Overall this is not a bad place to stay. Crater Lake is a must if you are in the area and get gas before heading up there as there are not many gas stations in the area. ##### Regina S. That pretty much was all the good of our stay. I sent a message to the owner a few days before our visit and never got a response. When we checked in the host leftvus to help other people which made our wait even longer. We already waited almost 15 minutes for someone to show up to check us in. We decided to rent a boat for a half day the next day. Once again the host stopped helping us to help another couple. They told her to finsh up with us and she said no. When she finally took us to the boat it was very low on fuel but she assured us it would be fine. We took the boat out for two hours and had to cut our rental short due to almost running out of fuel. When we returned the boat the host apologized for the fiel issue. The boat was very eore out and not kept up. Several of the seats had tears in the material. The cabin was a duplex style shared wall cabin. It was very well built with tile and hardwood floors. A very large shower and separate tub. It had a nice small deck overlooking the lodge and part of the lake. We enjoyed our stay despite the horrible service. ##### Shawn W.
