190 km to the north from Rovaniemi, lake Tiurajärvi 20 m (length 1,2 km, width 0,4 km), shallow beach, rocky, hard, humus bottom, the reedy beach is not well suited for swimming.

Planed log cabin, inner walls are paneled, built in 1989, renovated later. Living room/kitchen with sofa bed, 2 beds with uniform mattress pad in sleeping alcove, sauna and washroom/WC.

Cooking hut with gas grill (no fireplace), storehouse and carport. Price includes firewood for normal use. You can buy more wood from the owner.

Check-out on departure day by 11 am.
Convection fireplace. In addition, cabin is equipped with an air source heat pump, which can also be used for cooling in summer.
Järvenpää is a lakeside cabin with amenities in a quiet area. Neighboring cabin nearby, but it is rarely used.

The ski trails and routes of Tunturi Lapland are easily reachable by car. Nearest point of the ski trail network is in Äkäsmylly Cafe, distance 6 km.
Äkäslompolo 17 km, grocery store Jounin kauppa 17 km. There is a bus connection from Kittilä airport to the Äkäslompolo.
Pallas-Yllästunturi national park 10 km at the closest. Steep-walled ravine lake Äkässaivo (historical Sámi people worship place) about 8 km, walking distance about 1 km.
Ski slopes of Ylläs (Äkäslompolo) 21 km, Fell Olostunturi 30 km, Levi 65 km.
Bed linen in place are included in the prices in bookings which are made before 3.8.2020. Final cleaning is included in bookings which are made strating from 3.8.2020.
Shortest possible rental period is 5 days.

Perfect accomodation for a true Finland experience
The hut is located remotely besides a lake, you can easily see nordic lights in winter. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything was clean and working fine. Kari and Margit are very friendly and help you with any questions, checking in late was no problem. A lot of sauna wood was provided. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to come back!
