Fabulous stay
Couldn’t be happier with our stay - really well equipped accommodation, loads of space indoors and out for all ages, and in a really beautiful spot. Would love to return.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HOLIDAY COTTAGE IN GREAT LOCATION
We had a fabulous break at Oak Cottage and in the Highlands. The location is perfect; you can cycle straight from the cottage into forest rides and off road and quiet routes that take in all the great scenery and the lochs. Water sports are nearby at Loch Insh and we hired a Canadian canoe for a lovely trip down the River Spey, where we saw lots of birds and enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of the river. The cottage is very well equipped and very comfortable. It has everything you need and is beautifully furnished, with lots of little extras that make it a home from home. The king size bed and en-suite bathroom with a power shower were very welcome after a day out on the hills. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We would definitely go back, as there is still so much to do and see!

Family holiday
Oak Cottage was immaculately presented. Layout excellent for us (six adults, three under5s). Kincraig only 10 mins from Aviemore so great location for exploring the area. Good beer at Kincraig’s only hotel bar. (5minwalk). Cafe/gallery just 100yards from Oak Cottage, excellent cakes. Strongly recommend this accommodation.

Perfection
There is nothing bad that I can say about this property. From the communication with the owner Diana to checking out, it was so seamless. Diana is so helpful and really helped us with her advice and recommendations for our kids in terms of activities. The cottage itself is beautiful and so clean and pristine. Amenities were excellent and the location was absolutely perfect for a stay in the Highlands.

Family break
Lovely property next to Loch Insh and the Highland Wildlife park. Facilities within the property are excellent and excellent communication with the owners from the day of booking right through to the end of the stay. Highly recommended for a family get together.
