The holiday villa has a fantastic location, on the edge of the 5-star Beach Resort Ooghduyne in Julianadorp aan Zee with a panoramic view of the dune landscape and the lighthouse. The southwest-facing free garden of 700 m2 with various terraces offers a lot of privacy. There is a sunny, sheltered terrace with a lovely lounge set with parasol and large dining table. A shell terrace with an open fireplace, where you can sit around a cozy campfire in the evening. As well a terrace with private 4-person whirlpool, where you can enjoy a hydro-massage and a wave seat, looking out over (bulbs) fields and the dunes. All stress and fatigue will immediately slip away from you here. The villa is quietly situated, at the end of a dead end street, so without traffic. There are 3 parking places on site. In the lockable storage room you will find various garden equipment, including the cushions for the lounge sofa, barbecue and extra garden chairs. You can also store your own beach equipment here. The park facilities and the beach exit are a short walk away. Via a bicycle and walking path (car free) you reach the dune entrance after 1200m, which provides access to the wide, quiet sandy beaches. You can enjoy fresh air along kilometers of sandy beaches. Julianadorp-aan-Zee counts the most sun hours of the Netherlands. On the beach there are several beach pavilions, of which Paal 6 is open all year round. PLEASE NOTE: Arrival and departure day only possible on Monday or Friday (Mon-Mon, Fri-Fri, Fri-Mon). July and August only on Fridays. Description of the villa: The 140m2 living area with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms offer comfortable accommodation for 7 to 9 people. The villa is light and spacious, attractively furnished and equipped with all comforts, such as WiFi wireless internet, TV, Apple TV, DVD player and a sound system. In the living room you can enjoy a wood-fired fire in the sitting area in the evening, or games at the dining table. The living room is connected to a fully equipped and well equipped kitchen (including a induction plate, large fridge, dishwasher, oven and microwave). The kitchen turns into the "winter garden", a conservatory with a glass roof and its own sitting area. On the ground floor there is also a spacious 2-person bedroom and large bathroom with bath with shower, washing machine, dryer and baby table. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms (2-person, 1-person and 4-person with a large double bed and a large, sturdy bunk bed) and a bathroom with a spacious, separate shower. All bedrooms have first-class Auping beds (90x200) for a good night's sleep and cozy furnishings. Please note: You can only book the villa for a long weekend (3 nights from Fri to Mon), a midweek (4 nights from Mon to Fri) or on a weekly basis with arrival on Friday or Monday. And in July and August only on a weekly basis with changeover day on Friday. Surroundings: The villa is located on the outer edge of the Landal Beach Resort Ooghduyne, one of the most exclusive parks in the Netherlands. The facilities are of excellent quality and offer numerous recreational activities, all within walking distance of our villa. The park is spacious and very suitable for families with children. Of course, all parking facilities are available to our guests for a fee. The main park facilities are: swimming pool with 55m super slide and rapids, solarium, sauna, playgrounds and fields, bouncy castle, indoor playground, tennis courts, bowling alley, miniature golf, breakfast / sandwich service, bicycle and bollard car hire, brasserie and an A-status 9-holes golf course. Those who do not yet have a golf certificate can play at the 9-hole family golf course. For food and drinks you can visit Juliandorp, the beach pavilions or at the park at Brasserie Sandz and Restaurant Steaks & Burgers. In addition to the attractive places Callantsoog, Schagen, Schoorl, Bergen and Alkmaar (cheese market), many museums and various trips are possible in the immediate vicinity, such as a visit to seals in Ecomare on Texel (ferry at 8 km). Or a day in Amsterdam (by train you are at Amsterdam Central Station 1:25). In this beautiful beach villa and versatile holiday environment you are guaranteed a wonderful stay every season! In the top class spa, with underwater lighting, you can enjoy 4-5 people with soft bubbling and sparkling water (39º C), to a soothing hydromassage with powerful rotating jets on your whole body. The spa offers 3-4 seats and 1 sun lounger and is equipped with a special Wave Seat and a romantic duo seat. Every place gives you a different (massage) experience. The spa is therefore highly recommended. This private spa can be booked optionally (at a surcharge) up to a week before the start of your stay. The supplementary fee is € 120 for a weekend or midweek and € 175 for a week. Or € 225 for stays longer than 1 week. For ecological reasons we calculate the energy consumption based on your consumption. The modern villa is well insulated. Normally the energy costs are on average € 10 per day, depending on the applicable energy prices, the season and use of the spa. Auch zu Fuß ist der Weg zum Strand nicht weit.Die Möbel leider teilweise beschädigt. Der Geschirrspüler war defekt und die Reparatur erfolgte erst 3 Tage später. Die streng und ausführlich formulierten Mietbedingungen sorgten aber bei der ganzen Gruppe für Irritationen. Wenn man dann das völlig ‚normale‘ Ferienhaus sieht (durchaus ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen) ist man verwundert. Strenge Vorgaben für den Whirlpool fände ich okay, das andere war überzogen. Die Rezeption im Park konnte uns leider auch nicht helfen. Durch Zufall haben wir diesen dann nach 30 Minuten an der Seitenwand halb bewachsen mit Efeu entdeckt. Vorab war die Preisgestaltung sehr undurchsichtig. Es kam eine Rechnung von FeWo UND vom Eigentümer. Für die Stromkosten wurde eine Abschlagszahlung gefordert. Das kann ich in der heutigen Zeit auch verstehen. Nur leider lief die Heizung und Umlaufpumpe des von uns NICHT gebuchten Whirlpools weiter!!!! Ablesen des Zählerstand bei Ankunft : nicht möglich, da nicht zu finden. Einchecken wie gefordert: bei 6 Personen hat auch dies keiner geschafft. Alles in allem hatten wir ein tolles langes Wochenende, werden aber definiv nie wieder über FeWo buchen. Wir hoffen, dass uns im Nachhinein nicht noch eine dicke Nachzahlung erwartet. ##### Nicole B. Zusätzlich war es Pflicht ein Online Formular innerhalb von 24h nach Ankunft auszufüllen, wo man in mehreren Kategorien den Zustand des Hauses bestätigen sollte und unterschreiben, dass der Vormieter alles so korrekt wieder hinterlassen und zurück gestellt hatte. Das Haus an sich war wirklich sehr schön, direkt mit freiem Blick über das Feld und die Dünen. Beim Auszug hab's natürlich noch ein Check-out online Formular. Der schöne Urlaub wurde uns dann 1 Woche nach Check-out vermiest: es kam eine lange E-Mail ("Schadensbericht") mit teils lächerlichen Anschuldigungen, die jeweils nur auf 2-3 Fotos der Putzfrau beruhte. (Wir hatten angeblich die Gartenmöbel verrückt, wir hatten angeblich den Whirlpool benutzt, wir hatten angeblich ein Schaffell als Fußabtreter benutzt obwohl es nur die Sitzgelegenheit am Fenster für ein kleines Kind war, wir hatten Teelichter auf dem Tisch benutzt obwohl die Teil der Wohnung waren.. hier sollte dann von unserer Kaution gleich ein neuer Tisch gekauft werden) Man hatte gnädigerweise jedoch noch Gelegenheit, Stellung zu beziehen. Letztlich waren die "Anklagepunkte" natürlich nicht haltbar und wurden fallen gelassen. So etwas haben wir in unserem ganzen Leben noch nicht erlebt. Schade. ##### Nicolas D. Selbst meine Kinder ( 26/32 Jahre alt) waren begeistert! Es gab zwei drei Kleinigkeiten am Gartenmobiliar (Eine Liege eingerissen, zu wenig Auflagen für die Gartenmöbel) die man in Ordnung bringen muss! Der Aussenwhirlpool war einfach nur super! Wer über das nötige Kleingeld für alle optionalen Abgebote verfügt wird hier schön hausen können. Was mich jedoch immernoch tierisch wurmt : Es wird ein „Luxushaus mit Außenwhirlpool“ angeboten. Dass der Whirlpool nicht gerade wenig pro Woche extra kostet verrät leider zu Beginn niemand . Zudem wird ein Kamin zur Nutzung angeboten. Leider gibt es dort weit und breit kein Holz ! Naja Bettwäsche und so weiter kosten auch extra, was meiner Meinung nach aber okay ist . Und man muss bis 10 Uhr am letzten Tag raus sein, inklusive Reinigung und leerer Spülmaschiene. Achso, der TV funktioniert auch nicht richtig ... Ansonsten war es okay... ##### Maurice G. Stayed 3 nights in Nov 2018 ### 2/10 Terrible #### Ronja G. 4 Dec 2018 #### Holpriger Urlaub Schönes Haus und schöne Lage,aber leider hat man viele Informationen über den Aufenthalt erst nach nachfragen erhalten z.B. haben mussten wir den Vermieter kurz vor dem Ziel nochmal anrufen,da wir bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt keine Info hatten,wie wir ins Haus kommen oder bei Fewo-direkt steht aufgelistet,das Bettwäsche und Handtücher vor Ort sind und bei der Ankunft war nichts im Haus. Auf Rückfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt,das wir dies hätten extra buchen müssen. Dies wird aber nirgens erwähnt.Ebenso der Jacuzzi,hier auf der Plattform steht,leider nichts davon,das man auch diesen hätte extra buchen müssen. It was everything we expected and more. The home was well stocked, clean, convenient to shopping, the beach and the beautiful flower fields. We did not have access to the linen closet which was a negative but we puchased towels and washcloths and brought them home with us. I'm sure we could have contacted the owner about the linens but we didn't really mind. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We enjoyed the swans, ducks and birds that visied us daily. We would recommend this home highly! The Julianadorp Spring Fair was really fun to visit as well as the dunes and beach restaurant. ##### Kevin M. Auch die Beschreibung und Bebilderung der Schlafzimmer war nicht entsprechend. Die Ausstattung der Küche war ok, es fehlte der Einsatz der Kaffeemaschine und die Pfannen waren unterstes Niveau Gut war sicherlich auch die Einzäumung des Grundstücks ##### Michaele L.
