We stayed here for 5 nights for a trip to NYC. We saved a huge amount of money by staying here versus in the city, and the hotel has a shuttle that brings you back and forth, drops you right in Times Square. That was really convienient and cheap compared to a cab or uber.
We really only came back to the hotel to clean up and sleep and spent most of our time out, so this place worked out mostly great. Our room was clean and always had fresh towels, staff was friendly, our floor was quiet. We only had one problem and that was our coffee pot broke. They gave us free coffee in the lobby and replaced it right away.
There's no continental breakfast, by the way. It's $10 for the breakfast bar which is little more than a continental breakfast that's usually free in other hotels. They even charge $1.60 for a cup of coffee. Just keep that in mind, fellow coffee drinkers!
There's only one thing didn't like; the location. On our first night we wanted to find a store to pick up some essentials and snacks and while there is a grocery store in walking distance you have to cross major highways to get there. We rented a car and getting in and out was a nightmare. Thanks to NJ's "no left turn" you have to drive a mile out of you way just to take a jug handle and come back to get into the parking lot. And about the area, if you're not from around there, driving is insane! Be careful! Traffic is horrible and the people drive scary crazy!
