The Acres has a lake, miles of trails for hiking or cross-country skiing and a picnic pavilion area. For fisherpersons, there is access to the Ausable river less than two miles away. Within three miles is a Top’s Supermarket, Stewart’s Gas and Convenience store, movie theatre, pizzeria and liquor store. The interior of the cabin is constructed with tongue and groove knotty pine throughout. The bedroom has a new queen size log bed. The bathroom is newly remodeled. There is a sitting area with a wood stove, kitchen, dining area, a desk with ample room for writing in your journal or laptop and an area with comfy chairs for just relaxing. The home has a three-zone electric heating system, so a wood fire is optional. There are two USB charging stations and high-speed internet. The kitchen has an electric cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, dishes and lots of cookware that allow our guests to prepare a home cooked meal or breakfast. In warmer months enjoy relaxing on the front porch or cooking on the gas grill in the side yard which also has a picnic table. Our cabin is designed for one or two guests. Absolutely no pets are allowed. The loft is not accessible. Night sky during new moon should not be missed. We drove out to main road at 1:00 a.m. to see the rest of the sky and more shooting stars. ##### Joanne S. Right next to whiteface mountain and riddled with so many hiking trails. After you check in and you enter the cabin the hosts have this folder filled with so many recommendations on restaurants and trails and attractions which I have used throughout my entire stay. My favorite restaurant was smoked signals. If you love BBQ food definitely need to check them out during your stay. The hosts have two cabins to rent from and the old crow cabin was so beautiful. Will be returning sometime next year for some more hiking and will be a return guest most definitely. ##### Frank K. The home was as advertised. Very clean and well kept . The area AuSable Acres was quiet and serene. We enjoyed ourselves. The only thing would of liked is a fire pit outside. ##### Francis C.
