Uig Lodge was built in 1876. It sits high above Uig Sands with what has been described as 'the most breath-taking view in all of Britain'. The Lodge is a home from home where you will be looked after like part of the family. We serve 3 course evening meals with an emphasis on local and fresh ingredients and have an alcohol license. In recent years the lodge has been refurbished to a high standard and the accommodation is very comfortable. We have 3 double ensuite bedrooms and 4 twins and a single (Either ensuite or shared bathrooms). We also have a salmon fishery for guests who would like to try fly-fishing. We have a 9 hole 'pitch and put' golf course which begins just yards from the front door and is great fun for the keen or amateur golfer. There are over 20 big white sandy beaches in Uig so plenty to choose from. Golden Eagles, Sea Eagles, otters, sheep, lambs, geese, swans, cuckoo's, corncrakes and as many other bird species as you can imagine have all been seen from without even leaving the lodge!
