Peaceful and welcoming it's a beautiful homestay you'll just love returning to at the end of the day. Its rural location makes it a great escape for those looking for a countryside bolt-hole, with plenty of pubs to walk / cycle to and things to see and do nearby. Bedrooms There are two gorgeous bedrooms, with deep mattresses, cotton bedding, and super fluffy pillows, so you can settle in and truly relax. The first bedroom has a French style king-sized bed The second bedroom can be arranged as a superking-sized double or with two single beds. Bathroom The bathroom is light and spacious with a large walk-in shower. Living areas The house has a dual aspect open plan living/dining/kitchen area for four people. The sitting area has comfortable sofas and is equipped with a 42' flatscreen TV The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a central island, an electric two oven Aga, microwave, dishwasher, a large fridge-freezer and a washer-drier. The oak front door opens out to a good sized sheltered courtyard with your outdoor table and chairs for alfresco eating or just enjoying a morning coffee. The courtyard is fully enclosed for perfect for small people and four legged friends! Up to two dogs are very welcome at Courtyard Setting & local area Courtyard Cottage is part of an 16th century former farmhouse. The cottage is found in the east wing of Stepps House - with the owners living in another part of the house. Situated in the heart of Broadway, a quiet Somerset village which is surrounded by fields and woods that are accessible on foot and bicycle through the myriad of local country lanes and footpaths. Nearby there are several pubs, two within a few minutes walking distance The Bell Inn, Broadway and The Five Dials at Horton. Others such as The Lord Poulett are a little further afield and well worth a visit. Barrington House, a National Trust house with gardens open to the public, is nearby, as is Forde Abbey and Montecute House There are several local cider producers whose orchards and presses are worth seeing, Perry's Cider in Dowlish Wake being one, and Julian Temperley's cider and cider brandy distillery over at Burrow Hill another. A little further away the beach at Lyme Regis and walks along the Jurassic coastline are 40mins or so to the South Guest access The house is accessed just off the A303 and has off road private parking for 2 cars Keys left for you in a key safe.
