Great staff, everything really clean and very enjoyable stay. Two small things; lack of a proper bathrooms in the rooms is a bit weird, and the food could be hit or miss. All in all though, really enjoyed out stay.

Location: Location a bit isolated from San antonio,but beach not far,so ok overall.
Very restful hotel. food great.good room .good WiFi. Enjoyed our stay.

Ok hotel. food was not great but you can usually find something to eat most meals. Beds are uncomfortable and air con is either freezing cold or roasting hot when not using it. Pool was like jumping into a frozen lake! Close to a nice beach and great little pizza restaurant which I can't recommend enough. Not really anything to do near the hotel so means you need to get a bus/taxi into San Antonio which costs around 12euros for taxi. Overall it's a nice enough hotel but not somewhere I'd be rushing back to.

Great All Inclusive, Cold Pool

Just returned from a 4 night stay. Staff were excellent, great animation team, the food was lovely on the all inclusive and lovely snacks provided throughout the day. The only thing I would say is the pool is freezing cold so as soon as you jumped in, you’re straight back out and when the weather isn’t very hot anyway, it isn’t ideal.

Had a great time at the Occidental. A little bit further away from San Antonio than expected but a fantastic stay overall. Cocktails a tad strong but fine to weaken down in self service area.

Very friendly and great value for money Hotel.

The hotel is very clean and tidy, with great options for food and drink. The pool area's are big enough with the addition of a separate kids pool area and play area, which is a plus for family's. The sun beds are a little uncomfy, so we took a pillow from the room to help. All in all a great place to stay for couples and family's alike, Highly recommend it

Kids club was closed, ball pond was not working

Ended up paying 987£ for 3 nights. Very unhelpful staff. Basic room for the money paid. Will not stay there again. Very disappointing

We are very sorry to read that your kids didn't take full advantage of the wide array of activities organized by our professional mini club staff and sincerely hope they will join the activities on a future occasion. The Mini club is only closed on Sundays but we have family activities so everybody can join in. The rest of the days we have activities for kids with our brand new programme " Happy MInds" which is based on Gardner´s multiple intelligences where they can learn and have fun and develop multiple skills. Balls pond is always operative but sometimes the kids remove some of the balls and we have to sanitise them very often. At Barceló Hotel Group we lay high value on our personnel being guest oriented and welcoming at all times, being fully aware that their interactions with our guests have an enourmous impact on the overall holiday expérience in our hotels, therefore we are sincerely sorry to read your comments on the service your received and commit to adjust any situation that leads us away from our goal being to make sure our guests feel welcome and attended to at all times. Very standard

This is absolutely no frills at all. Looks nicer in photos. Sunloungers not available for everyone. Despite being all inclusive, that's very selective and only really includes beer and wine. Location is a bit far away from things if you want to go out.
