Come visit this charming 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage near world renowned Whitepoint Beach . Located in Whitepoint Estates perfect for romance or with the kids. Enjoy your morning coffee while sitting on the deck listening to the birds and the ocean. Have a relaxing fire in the outside fire pit, have a swing . Lots of privacy but only a 10 minute scenic walk to White Point Beach Resort where you can use all the resort has to offer (as part of your stay at Shellot) including a pool,hot tub,sauna and also a game room with pool table , ping pong and more. Enjoy a drink at the bar , have a meal at the dinning room or relax and enjoy a spa treatment. Get in a some golf at Whitepoint's on site course . Take a drive along Nova Scotia's coast and take in the beauty or find a spot to do a little fishing if you want . Only 10 minutes to Liverpool for shopping .
Hot tub / paddle boats / spa / pool ( indoor n outdoor)/ sauna / restaurant / ATM / weight room / games room are all at Whitepoint lodge 5 min drive and or a 10 minute walk (Due to Covid 19 some services not available ) ... 15 minutes to shopping. Check in at 4 pm ....check out at 10 am

Great cottage to stay at, walking distance to white point resort through a small pedestrian bridge (does not show up on google maps though). Very clean and very quite! Great spot to relax at

Perfect Home Away from Home

Thank you Janet & Greg for allowing us to use this home as a base for our vacation. It's location was perfect - allowing us to explore nearby beaches and visit with family. The children enjoyed riding their bikes via the Nature trail to the White Point Lodge and beach area for nightly campfire. It had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This cottage is more like a home. Much bigger than it looks in the photos. Having the firepit was really nice, as well as access to Whitepoint was great! Everything you need for a great stay!

Very relaxing and stress free! A very comfortable place for our family. Kids really enjoyed exploring the area and making S’mores at night around the fire pit. Looking forward to returning to visit in the future.

Janet has a wonderful private property here. It’s so wonderful that she shares it! Quiet and peaceful, with just the sound of the ocean nearby. The only thing I wish is that I had booked a longer stay!

Excellent accommodation

This was our second time staying in Janet and Greg’s cottage. It was very spacious and was extremely well equipped. It was ideal for our 3 generation family and it was great to use the amenities at Whitepoint Resort ( pool, beach, etc) and then come back to relax on the deck or BBQ in such a peaceful setting. We are sorry this is the last summer they are renting their cottage as all of us (adults and children) have enjoyed it here immensely. Hats off to the Corkum’s who have been such awesome hosts!

Family getaway!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at your lovely and spacious cottage again this year .Nightly campfires with roasted marshmallows were so much fun . The grandchildren had a wonderful time with all that White Point resort has to offer …games room, indoor pool ,pickleball courts and kayaking . The beautiful sandy beach is always a bonus too . Came to White Point Beach area for our nephew's wedding, loved the location and ability to use the resort's amenities. Place was bigger than it looked on website. It served our family well. Would book again if we are in the area again.

Great cottage stay within walking distance of White Point

Cottage was exactly as pictured. Walking distance to White Point with access to their amenities. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed (coffee and filters, oil, salt, pepper, etc). Janet was easy to communicate with and even left a thoughtful treat basket. Great spot on the South Shore for families or groups of travellers.

Great Getaway !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shellot Cottage. The place was clean and very comfortable. The grandchildren enjoyed trail walks to White Point Lodge and the beautiful sandy beach . Everyone took advantage of the many amenities the Lodge had to offer….games room , indoor pool etc. The cottage outdoor games were a great hit too . Thanks again for providing a wonderful stay .
