We stayed in the Warren dog friendly room with large wet room with safety rails which was a nice surprise as I needed a walk in shower due to mobility issues. Nice enclosed patio at the back for our dog who was very happy with all the attention from the staff at breakfast especially the sausages. Fan in room very useful as room got very hot and couldnt leave door to patio open due to flies which is no fault of the hotel. Nice touch of welcome G & T and homemade cookies. Lovely outside bar area with comfy seating and large parasols for shade. The only thing I could fault was the very limited menu for dinner, only 4/5 main meal options and 4 desserts. What we did have was good but would of liked more options. Definitely worth a visit.! The Brewhouse cottage was cosy but perfectly formed. The attention to details made it feel so luxurious . Lovely 2 night stay . The bed and bedding were the most comfortable place we’ve ever stayed, 2 drinks of G & T in our room, pastries , everything about the place speaks class and good quality. Breakfast ample and good choice , flexible in adding or reducing items on the menu. Outside area stunning . Only thing we would say to improve it is add some more meat dishes to the main menu or Tapas style dishes . Chose the Gin Trap Inn as a base to explore the area. Rooms were very nice, well decorated with good features. The food was very good. Stay included breakfast, which was excellent quality, certainly better than a lot of places we’ve stayed at. Bar areas indoors and a nice outdoors, we spent all our time outside as the weather was fantastic. Had a few bar meals which were good quality. This is a place that serves very good quality food, it’s not a standard pub selling standard pub grub. Staff were very friendly.
