A lovely property, in a superb location, very well equipped

We stayed in this lovely bungalow for two weeks at the end of August. The bungalow itself was originally fitted out for a family member, and this shows in the high quality of the fixtures and fittings. The bungalow is far more comprehensively equipped than one would normally find in a rental property. Given the uncertainties of a European summer the mornings during our stay were quite cold, this was no problem there was a wood pellet stove which just required the press of a button to start up which more than adequately heated the whole property. Hulgoat is a five minute drive away and offers a lovely Market Square where you can sit outside with a glass of wine watching the world go by. The coast is also in easy striking distance and the trip from Brest airport takes about 45 minutes and is a very simple drive. The owners Viv and Clive are extremely hospitable and a mine of information concerning local markets and attractions. If you're looking for a nice quiet hideaway that is all on one level (some of the French staircases are very steep, particularly for a 74-year-old pensioner like myself) then this property is ideal. I can't say more other than I hope to go back in the winter when because of the excellent heating arrangements I have no worries about keeping warm.
