"Very busy as our trip coincided with Manchester Pride festival. We decided to stay away from the Refuge bar which is a shame as we enjoy it when we stay at this hotel."

"Great location, easy walking distance to most things downtown. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms were large and comfortable, and decently clean (I get congested with too much dust, but no problems here). The rooms were also nice and quiet, even though there was a festival while we were there and the streets were full of drunk people hooting and hollering, it didn't bother us at all in our room. The air conditioners also worked great. The breakfast was fine: Always plenty of space to sit, and a good selection of food. The food itself was perhaps not always the best (hash browns that have been sitting in a warming tray for an hour lose all their crunch, for example). But it tasted fine and got the job done. We parked at the NCP Chorlton Street garage, which was 25 pounds a day, and worked just fine. "
