We had a lovely overnight stay and booked spa treatments. The outdoor pool is wonderful and the indoor spa facilities are excellent. Great breakfast. Buxton is quiet but that suited us. Great Thai restaurant round the corner too.

The hotel was really nice and the outdoor heated pool was a real treat even in March. We didnt have any treatments as we were only there to enjoy 1 evening child free but what we did see of the spa treatments and the facilities were very good. The location of the hotel was perfect and next to lots of good restaurants that were within 1 minute walk. Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and Buxton in general. We will be back

Perfect getaway for our Anniversary

We absolutely love this hotel. We came last year for our mini moon so obviously wanted to return for our 1st anniversary. The facilities are excellent and we made lots of use in the gym and spa areas each day. Staff, food and cleanliness is 5 stars and really couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay. Look forward to returning next year.

Staff are rude, horrendous service from start to finish. A stay here is worse than a travel lodge. Not disabled friendly. The girl called Amy on reception was the rudest most unhelpful person I’ve ever met. They claim to have disabled bays but this is provided by the council not actually the hotel itself. Bar service terrible. Spa smells like feet with dirty floors. Over inflated prices for awful service.

Perfect nights stay Bath and shower enough lighting in the room comfy bed and bedding full length mirror and magnifying mirror plenty of charging points hairdryer iron and board mini fridge safe . 3rd visit and decided to try the cheaper rooms as don't spend much time in the room anyway as using the spa and enjoying Buxton. The room was very small and the cleaning was good but not previous excellent standard. TV screen was small and the guides and text impossible to read from the bed.. There was no accessible socket for the kettle so had to use the (very dusty) luggage rack and tea tray as a makeshift table next next to the socket. Spa was great, but busier than previous stays. Breakfast was excellent and service attentive and friendly. Buffet plus hot main, delivered very quickly. The rest of the hotel was up to usual great standard but disappointing that a cheaoer room would be such a let down.
