The Park Royal Hotel & Spa

The Park Royal Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"Stayed at the Park Royal for 1 night, didn’t use the facilities or eat there so can’t comment on them. Check in was efficient and Elizabeth on reception was really lovely, very considerate of the fact that I was a female travelling alone. Room was spacious and very clean, bed was very comfortable - decor is tired and could do with some updating"

Guests who choose historic hotels have the opportunity to stay in a building that has been recognised with an official historic designation. What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
These are quite similar. "Historic hotel" is a term often used in the US, whereas "heritage hotel" is common in Asia and Europe. Yes. Every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, but interiors include modern conveniences and safety features. Guests should expect the popular amenities you'd find in a hotel such as private rooms with updated bathroom facilities, heating and air conditioning, and free and fast Internet. In Holmes Chapel, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's uncomfortable for guests or rundown.
