Our 2nd visit to Mercure in How An
Considering we paid to be upgraded to a superior room, we must admit to be disappointed both with cleanliness and the bed sheet changes. We paid needlessly and was not happy with doing so, no manager was around to discuss & the girl who signed us our could hardly speak english a big shame!!!
It was our wedding anniversary & they were advised of this as we wanted to eat in the hotel as it was our second visit we were promised to be spoilt on our anniversary it did not occur. In fact there was no facility for us to eat as the kitchen was closed.
There were noticeable bugs on the corridor on the top floor which were not moved, and in fact increased. Staff had been given notice to finish as the hotel was closing for refurb, and so many were chatting and dissinterested in visitors.
I will say breakfast was fabulous the cook and some of the waitresses worked very hard, yet there was a lot of nonsense & chit cha going on in the kitchen. Disappointed in some ways as we had specifically come back here as
