Karinya is a spacious, modern 2-bedroom apartment offering the perfect peaceful getaway with stunning waterfront views. Located just a 10-15 minute drive from both Hobart CBD and the airport, this apartment is the ideal base for your holiday or a relaxing retreat in Tasmania.

The apartment is designed for comfort and accessibility, featuring a wheelchair-friendly layout with ramp access. The main bedroom has a comfy queen-size bed, a walk-in robe, and a private, wheelchair-accessible bathroom with a wide roll-in shower and toilet. The second bedroom, located at the opposite end of the apartment, also offers a queen-size bed, its own bathroom, robe, and a quiet reading nook, giving both rooms a sense of privacy.

The open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge areas are designed to maximize the incredible waterfront views. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including an oven, microwave, coffee machine, and all the essentials you need to cook and enjoy meals during your stay. For your convenience, there’s also a hideaway laundry with a washing machine and clothes dryer.

Karinya provides a designated parking space right outside the apartment, and additional non-metered parking is available on the street. This property offers both a tranquil retreat and a convenient location for exploring Hobart’s best attractions.

Guest Access:
Guests have full use of the downstairs apartment and gardens. There is secure and private access with a wheelchair ramp.

The Neighborhood:
Geilston Bay is a peaceful, picturesque suburb nestled on the water, offering a perfect escape. This apartment provides immediate access to a variety of walking tracks, including both waterfront and bushland trails. The bay is dotted with an array of moored yachts, creating a tranquil setting. After a day of sightseeing, unwind with a glass of wine as you enjoy the gentle sounds of boats bobbing in the bay.

Perfectly situated, Geilston Bay offers quick and easy access to key attractions such as Mona, Richmond, Port Arthur, the Airport, and the stunning East Coast. Yet, it remains only a 12-minute drive to Salamanca and the Hobart CBD—giving you the best of both worlds: serene waterfront living with the convenience of city proximity.

Getting Around:
As you have secure offstreet parking, getting around Hobart by car poses no difficulty. But for those who would love to discover this lovely area by foot, simply step out of the back gate onto the popular Clarence Walking Trail which follows the shoreline along the Derwent River, or take in the panoramic views from the Natone Hill Circuit. Both of these walks are on Karinya's doorstep.
