The staff are very friendly and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The only two things I would say are the rooms are a little dated and need a paint and omg that shower is so hot or so cold took about five minutes and soap in my eyes to get it right but all in all a good stay and will stay again ...
I booked as we were at the NEC for Crufts over two days. This hotel allowed dogs (for a small fee) and there was no problem with them there, in fact some were relaxing with their owners in the bar and lounge area. The rooms were comfy, decor a little tired but clean, good facilities, restaurant and ...
For a substantial amount of money was a waste! Will not be staying again!

Excellent value for money, very friendly and helpful staff
Our stay at this hotel will be memorable and we would recommend for anyone to stay here. The hotel was in a great position and facilities and food good but above all else the staff were outstanding. Himley Hall and Park is a stunning attraction, located just three miles from the M5, in Dudley. Built in the 18th Century, it was originally a Palladian mansion and home to the Earl of Dudley. With expansive grounds covering 180 acres and sculpted by ‘England’s greatest gardener’, Capability Brown, Himley Hall and Park is now one of the Black Country’s première events venues. With plenty of accommodation nearby, from budget-friendly B&Bs to luxury hotels, visitors can take part in their favourite events at any time of year.
With a number of one-night-only events taking place, there are hotels near Himley Hall ideal for those who just want to stay for a night or two. Hotels such as the Ibis Budget Birmingham Centre and the Britannia Hotel Birmingham are just a short drive away, and offer comfortable, down-to-earth lodging. However, for an extended stay or for those visiting for a special occasion, there are four and five star hotels in the area, such as the Staying Cool at the Rotunda aparthotel and the Staybridge Suites Birmingham.
In addition to being open to the public and acting as host to a huge range of events, Himley Hall and Park is also a beautiful, licensed wedding venue. With a variety of services on offer and romantic hotels just a stone’s throw away, Himley Hall and Park is one of the most coveted venues in the West Midlands for couples looking to make their Big Day a memorable one.
For those who are visiting with events in mind, the Hall’s calendar is a busy one, hosting everything from garden fairs to music events and the spectacular Himley Fireworks display. With events being well attended, those looking to visit a specific event are advised to book their accommodation in advance, as rooms can be hard to come by for more popular occasions. For those who want to get to grips with the Hall itself and soak up its magnificent architecture, there are daily guided tours.
