Nature Retreat - Dream Cabin in Helen, GA

Come stay at the Helen Nature Retreat. This home was built for a family retreat where multi generations can enjoy time together, get away from the city life, kick back and enjoy nature. It is not a "party house"! Although the home can sleep a number of people, it is a cozy home, not large. (roughly 2,200 square feet) This cabin is conveniently located in Alpine Helen, situated on two wooded acres on the 5th green of Innsbruck Golf Course. Enjoy seasonal sunsets over the peaks of the western mountain views from the wrap around deck. Three levels make this cabin ideal for a cozy get away for 2 or for the whole family.
Main level has master bedroom with king bed, TV, bath with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and his and her vanity sinks. Upstairs loft has a queen sleeper sofa, a twin futon bed and work station. WiFi connection throughout and a picture perfect view!! There is an additional bedroom with a king bed and full bath that opens to both bedroom and loft with large shower and his and her sinks. Lower level has two bunk beds with full beds on bottom and twin on top (bunks are for children only). Separate bedroom with queen bed. Full bathroom with tub/shower combo.
This cabin will sleep up to 12 persons, adults and children. There is a pack and play and crib available. This property is less than 1 mile from Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls.

Overall great place to stay!

I met a group of friends from out of state to do our annual golf trip. We chose Innsbruck at Valhalla this year as our destination. We have stayed in several cabins over the years and this one did not disappoint. We especially enjoyed the fire pit area and the screened in porch area. We had 8 guys and everyone enjoyed their time at the cabin.

Girls Weekend Getaway

We had a FANTASTIC time at this cabin for the weekend getaway. The cabin was exceptional, great private location, nice amenities, and plenty of room for what we needed. The owner of the house went above and beyond in communicating with me leading up to the stay. It was our first time in Helen, and when we go back we’ll definitely try and stay here again. Maybe even with the husbands this time!

Nice place to stay close to downtown Helen

Roomy and comfortable house set up to accommodate all your needs. House is as advertised with games and fire pits, everything we needed for our family getaway. Wonderful layout that was perfect for our family of 6. The host was great about communication. Only downside was getting out of the driveway, very limited visibility due to the trees….we looked, listened and prayed before pulling out.

The property was great. It had a great set up. The porches had a comfortable set up, the screened in patio was wonderful, and the cabin itself was amazing. The owner had movies, a burning pit (outside), air hockey, and basketball (inside and outside). It was a great set-up for me and the children.

The property is well maintained and close to everything in downtown Helen! If you are looking for a gated community close to downtown Helen this is your place! The communication from Pam was so awesome she helped up out with many things and she is so sweet! Can’t say enough about her! The screened in back patio is awesome! So much to do there also so many games and an amazing fire pit with plenty of seating! So many things in the kitchen to use, you don’t need anything! Highly recommend!

This cabin was exactly what we hoped for! The kitchen and living room aren't huge but there's still plenty of space. We never felt cramped. It's less than 10min from downtown Helen, but still secluded and quiet. The house has lots of things to do if you decide to stay in, like a fire pit which was perfect for the chilly weather during our visit. Pam was a great host, quick to answer any questions I had. Overall, we had a great time and I would recommend this cabin to anyone staying in Helen!
