Autumn in the mountains is beautiful!

Family-friendly cabin in Hays with indoor pool
Welcome! Spend some time nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. The cabin's welcoming decor & cozy spaces promote comfort and relaxation. Spend your day in the wineries of the beautiful Yadkin Valley or quaint neighboring towns, then come back to the cabin and spend your evening relaxing on the porch swing. The stream on the property is soothing, providing the perfect soundtrack to unwind with. Cabin Creek Cottage is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and the people who make your heart happy.
We also host for extended stays!

Cabin Creek Cottage is a cabin in a remote area of the Carolina mountains. The property is welcoming from the moment the gates are entered. The combination of the craftsmanship of the cabin, it's unique decor and the beauty of the area provide country charm.

Natural materials from the grounds and beams from a historic tobacco barn were used to build the cabin. It's one of a kind, just like the memories you'll make during your stay here.

There are front and back covered porches, perfect spots to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee or end the evening with a glass of wine.

The kitchen in the house is fully stocked, and there is a large pantry for you to store your food and essentials during your stay.

The house has 3 bedrooms. The master on the 1st floor has a king bed and en suite. The bedrooms upstairs share a full bath.

The cabin is in a perfect spot to escape the fast pace of the city. It's in the mountains, so we suggest bringing groceries and other things you may need with you for your stay. We're not in a location where a grocery store or restaurant is right around the corner.

There's a "Welcome Book" in the house that will provide important information about the cabin and the area, answer questions you may have and provide ideas for dining out and nearby activities.
Air-conditioned accommodation at this cabin offers fireplaces and DVD players. Rooms open to balconies. This accommodation is furnished with dining tables and kitchen islands. Smart televisions are featured in guestrooms. Kitchens offer fridges, hobs, microwaves and kitchenware and utensils. Bathrooms include a combined bath/shower unit and hairdryers.

Guests can surf the web using complimentary wireless Internet access. Business-friendly amenities include desks, desk chairs and telephones.

Recreational amenities at the cabin include an indoor pool.

Pleasantly Surprised
We were Pleasantly Surprised of this Spacious, Beautifully Decorated, Clean, Well Equipped and Quiet Cabin. The porches were very nice to set, read, eat and watch the birds at the feeder will looking at the beautiful landscape and listing to the creek. Thank You for sharing your cabin

5/5 Excellent

Wonderful cabin
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very spacious. It strikes the perfect balance between rustic and modern. Loved the porches with comfortable chairs, the perfect place to read a book….

Place to stay while attending MerleFest 2021.
Beautiful, secluded, quiet, wonderful. Lovely cabin, nicely designed and built. Great place to rest, relax, and recharge.

A Hidden Gem
A delightful vintage log cabin with modern amenities. It’s well off the beaten track of conventional tourism but reasonably close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Stone Mountain State Park. Set on a large, private tract with a mountain stream running through it. Plenty of parking. The steep gravel driveway is treacherous for motorcycles but navigable with caution. My brother, my son, a friend and I spent fun days exploring the area and evenings on the porch reminiscing, joking and having a great “guys outing”. While the cupboard is better stocked than most rentals with spices, coffee filters, etc., be sure to check your grocery list twice as the privacy is offset by no shopping or convenience stores nearby. Antique and retro furniture make it a place to return to. P.S. If you wake up in the night, don’t let the chimes of the antique clock confuse you,

5/5 Excellent

Better than we could have hoped for, and exactly what we needed.
We were looking for a place that was a bit off the beaten path, with great outdoor spaces for the kids, but we needed certain modern amenities (like wifi for my daughter's virtual schooling). This place was perfect. The girls (6 and 2) loved the connect 4 game on the porch, cornhole in the yard, and playing in the creek. We used the firepit to make hotdogs and s'mores, and they pretended the clawfoot tub was a pirate ship. The house is really charming, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and has everything you need. We really enjoyed sitting on the front deck with coffee and watching the birds with the sound of the creek in the background. We made a grocery run before we arrived, but didn't venture out a few times to local vineyards and antique shops. We're already planning a return trip!
