A delightful vintage log cabin with modern amenities. It’s well off the beaten track of conventional tourism but reasonably close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Stone Mountain State Park. Set on a large, private tract with a mountain stream running through it. Plenty of parking. The steep gravel driveway is treacherous for motorcycles but navigable with caution. My brother, my son, a friend and I spent fun days exploring the area and evenings on the porch reminiscing, joking and having a great “guys outing”. While the cupboard is better stocked than most rentals with spices, coffee filters, etc., be sure to check your grocery list twice as the privacy is offset by no shopping or convenience stores nearby. Antique and retro furniture make it a place to return to.
P.S. If you wake up in the night, don’t let the chimes of the antique clock confuse you,
