Nice hotel in walking distance of food and movies

Good experience other than the fact that we had a fridge that wasn't in service and had thawed freezer so the ground around it was wet

the first room the a/c didn't work had to be moved to another room Hotel is showing its age and was a little pricey for what you got have stayed in better best westerns for lot less money guess that is a New England thing will keep my trips to the south for now on a lot cheaper to do.

Better then sleeping in the car.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Redecorate our lamp shade had holes in it the bed looked like it was slept in the floors where dirty enough said
Location: Do not know got out of town asap
Driving to MA got late and tried to find a Hotel but there was a festival in Stranton. This was the only hotel that still had rooms. They doubled the price of the room and it was very shabby and not very clean.

Friendly staff

Pros: Friendly staff, clean, comfortable.
Cons: Decent hotel in rough area - convenient to Haverill but distant from Salem, Lynn, Marblehead, etc.
Location: Haverill is a depressed city - like the lesser sides of Boston. Long arduous drive to historic sites and beach.
Clean and comfortable. Staff exceptional. Old refurbished Howard Johnson's. Used as hub to north shore Mass towns - long complex drive everywhere but only decent place available on short notice.

Nice hotel convenient to other functions.

Pros: Very reasonable rates and attentive staff. Also nice breakfast area and selection.
Cons: Everything satisfactory or better.
Location: Conveniently located off major highway, near shopping center and restaurants.
Very good, comfortable room and nice breakfast section; convenient to other places necessary to our visit.

Do not do it

The room was dingy, and the bathroom was barely clean. There were unscrupulous characters patrolling the hallways of the hotel and the environs. Lots of pets are allowed at the hotel as well as pet dander. The staff was friendly and nice and though. The condition of the room was mediocre at best, the bathroom was dirty. We checked in last minute on a business trip and were too tired to find something else last minute. I had mosquito bites the next morning, even though I slept with my pants on for fear of bed bug bites

Comfortable and convenient

Easy to get to, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and stocked with sundries, and the breakfast had enough protein for everyone to make it to lunch. Great value for the price!

key cards

Cons: The beds are old
Room was clean staff helpful. Beds are old and need replacing. Would stay again though.
