Hotel is OK, rooms were Odd

Pros: The staff, location, breakfast.
Cons: Need normal size bath towels and a mattress that a human could sleep on
Location: lots to do nearby, decent food and things of that nature
Staff was awesome, very friendly Mattress was brutal, very uncomfortable. Towels were strangely tiny, like hand towels but for your body (like night at the Roxbury) AC in the room was an old wall unit that was loud and not super effective, traveled with a friend who said his room had several things (alarm clock, lamp) that were not working correctly. Breakfast was good Again, nice staff and good location, was for a work trip, one night stay you would be fine.

Pros: quiet, clean. nice breakfast
Cons: layout of hotel, long walks to get to lobby, pool, breakfast, confusing layout
Location: shopping mall and restaurants within walking distance
Clean, quiet, friendly staff, close to needed amenities

Problems at check in. Only had two of three reservations. Rooms were not near each other. For two of the rooms you walked the length of the building and took stairs down one flight. Then you walked the length of that building to take an elevator one floor back up to the same floor you were on but in a non connecting building and then walked the length of that building to get to your room. With luggage it was onerous. Room was great. Had a fireplace and wine cooler. Full kitchen with utensils but no glasses only cups. Room had washer and dryer. Bedroom of 1 bedroom suite had no window. Not good if you are claustrophobic. Last but not least and important to women traveling alone it is also a welfare hotel. My Sister was disturbed by many unclean and unsavory characters. I did'nt see them. Place was quiet and spotless. 24 hour CVS right next door for anything you forgot. McDonald's in walking distance as well as huge strip mall across the street with market, pet supplies, Burlington Coat Factory etc. 2 minutes off interstate and I would stay there again.

Expansive and getting worn

Nice and convenient for me. Bathroom needs a big refresher. Cracked and chipped counter is pretty beat up. It would be nice not to have a black shadow in the bathtub. Rest of the room was clean, comfortable and large. Good for an overnight.

Good overnite

Pool was freezing cold and should be advertised as not heated, breakfast was great

Don't take a discount room

I was only staying overnight so I booked an 85$ " special ". The room was way in the back on first floor facing a retaining wall. I gagged when I went in the room. It reaked of disinfectant and air freshener. Everything I had with me, including my bag still reaked when I got home. It's not a discount or special if you just get what you pay for. A special is when you get a good room at discount rate. This room was awful. I would have left but I had to get to meeting right away. I have gotten better rooms there before but paid much more. Not sure I will go back

I am very sorry that you experienced too much air freshener or disinfectant in your room. We do deep cleanings on rooms and it could have left a lingering smell. I apologize and will talk to the housekeeping manager to see how we can avoid this for the future. Also, next time you make a reservation, feel free to request a certain area so we can get you into one of the rooms you like. We hope you can give us another chance in the future.
