Room was clean and comfy. Only thing that can be improved will be the aircon and soundproofing of the room cos it can get noisy in the morning with traffic. I landed in Hanoi on 26/10/25 at 21:30 and received a WhatsApp message from the hotel telling us that our reservation had been cancelled due to a “power cut”. We have had 0 communication through Expedia regarding a cancellation or a refund for that matter. Our money has been taken and we were left without accommodation very last minute. I have requested evidence of this “power cut”, evidence of them having reached out to Expedia and evidence of a refund plus 20% compensation to be forwarded to my email but have received nothing further from the supposed “hotel”. Expedia have got back to us saying they are unable to get a hold of the property manager and are therefore unable to waiver their “no cancellation” fee.
