"We were greeted by Tracy & Lucy , throughout our stay they were extremely friendly and helpful (as were all the staff). Our room was 907 with great view of neighbourhood and very quiet (no street noise). I had an issue with the hairdryer that they promptly replaced. Breakfast had a wide selection from eggs made to your liking, pho, fruit, pastry and other hot dishes. Definitely would recommend this hotel in Old Town, walking distance to most attractions, shop and lake. We have had 3 family members stay here and recommend this hotel, it did not disappoint."

"My family of 4 stayed in this lovely hotel twice, during our 16 days in VietNam. The staff, including the front desk Anna ,Angela and the doormen/ porters were extremely helpful. They gave us advice on where to eat, tours available, etc. Most helpful was allowing us to leave our luggage with them, when we took side trips to SaPa and Halong Bay. It relieved our anxiety, and everything was fine when we came back. Daily breakfast was very good, and rooms are spacious and clean. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel."

"We researched extensively about accomodation in Hanoi as it was our first visit there and the one constant that we found was how highly the guests rated Royal Palace hotel. On the strength of those recommendations we decided to try it for ourselves and it turned out to be a wise move. We spent 7 nights at Royal Palace and from there we explored Halong Bay and Sapa. The manager, Mr Jimmi got us a great deal on both of these tours and organised everything for us. He also gave us the best exchange rate on the Vietnamese Dong! The staff were great and made us feel right at home. They were very helpful with advice on where to eat and shop and anything else that we needed during our stay. We look forward to staying there again next year. "

While our room didn’t have a view, the rooftop offered stunning skyline scenes – well worth a visit, especially in the evening. The location made it easy to get around the Old Quarter. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and fresh options each morning. Comfortable, convenient, and a good base for exploring Hanoi."

"The location is excellent for a visit to the Old Quarter. The staff were very helpful and super attentive. We booked a junior suite, which is a little misleading for a room basically big enough for a king-sized bed and no separate bathroom, but, size aside, the room was comfortable and the breakfast spread was varied and ample. Everything worked and we would certainly stay there again."
