We simply went for a 3 day getaway to unwind and enjoy the area. The house was very close to everything we needed. We could walk downtown to grab a bite to eat and a few drinks. We rented electric bikes at the shop down the street, they were super helpful and very nice. We road up and down the coastal trail, which was beautiful! The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, I wish we had more time to enjoy it! The bed was super comfortable! The decor was very nice and everything was clean and tidy! We certainly hope to come back in the future, we still have plenty of exploring left to do! Thankful the church was right across the street, an added bonus! It was a wonderful mass! It was so nice to have simple coffee/tea fixings so we did not have to run out to the store first thing on arrival. Our hosts even had little bathroom amenities such as soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. I felt more like I was staying at a friend's home who wanted to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay than a vacation rental. The location is perfect for a walkable weekend in the community of Half Moon Bay! The home itself had everything we needed to enjoy time with our family. We walked to the farmers market, which had a fully stocked kitchen and high-end cookware to complete our meals at home. We dined at several great restaurants in town, played golf, visited the beach to watch the surfers, and shopped. This property was one of my favorites. I am a clean freak and thoroughly felt comfortable walking around without shoes and I was very comfortable sitting on the furniture and sleeping in the master bed, which had the most comfortable mattresses and pillows. The property is in great condition, well stocked, well appointed, and has a nice layout. My family of four felt very comfortable here. Regarding location, you truly have the best of both worlds by staying in the downtown area while remaining in walking distance to the beach.
