"The hotel is a bit run down But is super quiet and I felt super safe. As a single woman traveling safety is first. Bed was comfortable. Price was right. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but that was not important. The staff was super friendly and nice. Don’t be frightened by its appearance. "

"We stayed here for four nights. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The house is clean, lovely and comfortable with good wifi access and everything else you might need for your stay. Towns like Simcoe and Port Dover are a short car ride away. Todd, the host, responded quickly to any queries we had. We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back when we can. We especially enjoyed interacting with the host's friendly animals that are also living on the property - two large adorable puppies, a cat, hens, roosters, turkeys, etc."
"Our experience at the Twisted Lemon was simply outstanding.
The room was so thoughtfully appointed, with a super-comfortable bed and a great shower. It was so pretty and clean and had everything we needed.
Our dinner was one of the best we’ve had anywhere. Fresh, local ingredients carefully prepared and served by owners Laurie and Chef Dan, and their staff.
Honestly, you need to go to The Twisted Lemon to experience the amazing food, service and hospitality. Such an absolute treasure!"

"Rooms are huge, had a double king suite with a pull out and a kitchenette, really nice that 2nd king was in its own room to get some peace and quiet from the kids. Cool Hollywood themed hotel! Rooms were nice, clean, and looked new."
"Overall a good time. Home is as advertised on the lake with access to water. Good deal for cost. Inside was clean but outside maybe needs to be hosed down a bit as the whole house had cobwebs and dead bugs on it. You will need to get your own firewood just 2 mins walk but that's ok. The barbecue ran out of propane so we did not barbecue the second night though I think there was another tank, though we did not feel comfortable changing it. There were lots of dead fish on the beach but this is not the owners fault or anything, I think pollution is causing lake Erie to warm and fish to die. Great"
"Quite satisfied for price. Neat, clean. Traditional motel style of 2 beds (queen), TV, bathroom, small fridge and microwave. Table in nook with chairs. Sadly, no coffee maker in room and none at office either. Need to drive to get morning coffee! "
"The property was cute and well decorated. It sits by the road but we couldn't hear the traffic which was nice. It wasn't central air and the window air conditionrs didn't cool the whole place unfortunately. Which made it hard for sleeping.
It was close by everything we wanted so overall met our needs. "
