Great house and even better hosts. Cute three bedroom bungalow with comfy beds and all the amenities. Well stocked kitchen from coffee/tea to snacks to spices. Emily was fantastic. Great communication and quick responses. Highly recommend and would definitely go back again.
We came for a friend's 50th birthday weekend - and spent the days exploring Greenville, shopping, and eating. The house was in a perfect location to come back to rest in between all our goings. House was just perfect - clean, well stocked - had everything we were hoping for!
Emily was an excellent Host!! The house was clean and spacious! We had everything we needed and when I asked about a fire pit she provided a portable one and had it completely setup for us to use. Communication was excellent form the start and through out our stay. Having a state park pass was wonderful as we went to 3 State Parks while we were there. Emily was also kind enough to provide some local snacks for us and wrote a nice little note welcoming us into the home. My friends and I can't be more pleased with our stay!
Beautifully renovated and spotlessly clean bungalow close to downtown, shopping and Furman University. Hosts are excellent with communication and it was an extremely easy check-in and check-out process. Highly recommend!
This place was exactly what we were looking for. The location was fantastic, the house was spotless, and the hosts were top notch. They thought of everything, and we couldn’t be more appreciative. We will definitely be back.
Our family came to explore Greenville for the weekend. This house was the perfect location to Paris Mountain, downtown GV, the zoo, and lots of hiking spots and fabulous dining experiences! The house was very clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, well stocked and we were welcomed by a hand-written note and local treats from Emily. The communication from booking to checkin/checkout was easy and timely. We received so many wonderful recommendations from our hosts and definitely enjoyed every single one we experienced! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your house. We would definitely stay there again! Absolutely one of our top VRBO places we've been!
This house was perfect for our family visit. It was clean and well stocked. The back yard is perfect for little kids to run around or play games. The host was very welcoming and considerate. We found the location to be easy to hop downtown or head north into the mountains. Would definitely stay here again!
Hospitality was above and beyond the typical rental! Lots of extras and well thought details as to what we may need while we were there. Host couple were so sweet in helping us with any questions we had about getting around the area & things to do. Located close to downtown, and a short skip to the little town of Travelers Rest. The house is the cutest fixed up bungalow that still retains its original charm. We loved it ! Hope to return in the future.
When I saw this house listed I knew it was the perfect place to stay for a weekend swim meet. We arrived to a handwritten note and pack of cookies. The kitchen had everything I need to keep 3 swimmers filled up for their races and we all slept soundly in the cozy beds. I wish we had more time to explore the area but we did get some personal recs from the owner which was great. Thank you we will be back!
Overall I was very impressed with the property and the hosts were very responsive and professional. The stay was accommodating and the house was beautifully decorated. Felt like home away from home.
The home was clean and well stocked. We felt safe. Our hosts were exceptionally helpful in recommending things to do in the area and also good places to find farm to table food. We went to an event at Furman and ate at the campus cafe - terrific!
Our book club took a trip to visit the Book Warehouse and this house was perfect! The house is absolutely adorable. Perfectly decorated and clean. Had everything we needed. Conveniently located to everything. We are already planning our next trip to the Greenville area and will definitely stay at this adorable little bungalow!
We came in for a family wedding, we were blown away on how adorable and sweet this home was. So clean and beautiful. The neighborhood is nice and quite, as well as close to a lot of things. Our host Emily was so amazing. From the very first contact to the last day. I would 100% recommend this home to anyone visiting. We will definitely return to this place again, when we are back in town.
This is a great place to stay. The host has makes it very welcoming. The house is a very clean. They have everything you need to make this a home away from home. All you need is the essentials. Anytime I’m coming to Greenville I will try and stay here if available.
Great location, it is truly about 10-15 min from everywhere.
Emily was very kind to us and very easy to work with. We had to alter our trip plans because of wild fires in the area. Emily shared with us the conditions in Greenville at the time and was very understanding when we needed to shorten our trip by a day. She offered us a refund for having to miss our first night, or to add a night onto the trip to make up for it. She didn't have to do that and it was so kind of her to offer. The house is in a great neighborhood and very close to town. We had a great stay. Lovely house and magical backyard.
My family and I were in town for an event in downtown Greenville. The location was in great proximity. The house was so super cute, well stocked and we even had a nice welcome message along with some sweet treats to start. The communication with the owner was excellent. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi and after sending a message to the owner, the issue was resolved quickly. The owners were even so kind to leave us donuts for the inconvenience. The only con I had was the lack of privacy in the main living area (no window treatment on the double doors) which faces the neighboring house. We didn't mind too much because we were gone most of the day. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would book again.
This is one of my very favorite VRBO experiences ever! Emily’s 1920’s bungalow is impeccably clean and has the cutest “vibe” (per my tween granddaughter). She has decorated it beautifully with comfortable modern beds and bedding, sofas and chairs, and accented with her great grandmother’s furniture. I love the old mixed with the new! The yard is a perfect size for kids and has lights strung across the back which is so welcoming and pretty at night. Everything is provided, from bedding and towels to shampoo and coffees! Emily left us a wonderful handwritten note welcoming us for the weekend with a basket of delicious cookies and cheese biscuits. She is super easy to get in touch with and so accommodating. The house is super close to lots of places to eat, grocery shop, get on the trail and Roper Mountain. We were there for a dance convention at Furman and it was a snap to get there. I know my Milly is planning on us returning, as she wrote in the guest book, “dance conventions will never be the same!” ☺️ Thank you to Emily and Tim for sharing their sweet spot with us. We WILL be back!
