"I’ve been to Cancun at least 10x and this is the by far the worst resort I have ever stayed in. At first glance this place looks great, ocean views and modern facilities, but once you get here, you realize you’ve been tricked. Beach: Looking to swim in the ocean water? Sorry, this resort isn’t for you. The water is covered in seaweed and is filthy brown. The pictures are extremely misleading. Pool: Want a nice pool since you can’t swim in the ocean? Sorry, this resort isn’t for you. The pool looks beautiful and has potential, but the way they have it set up completely messes up the experience. Most of the pool is blocked off for pool activities so the general public can’t access it. The area you get to swim in goes no deeper than 1-2 feet and is filled with people because it’s a small section. The activities are reservation only and it’s impossible to get one. Food: Want good food and access to the restaurants? Sorry, this resort isn’t for you. It is literally impossible to get a reservation at the restaurants. I was here for 5 days and could not get a reservation at any point. You are forced to eat at the buffet, and in most resorts, this would be a minor trade off, but here it isn’t. The buffet is lacking variety and quality. And you are stuck waiting on line for 20-45 minutes just to eat there at all times. Relaxation: Want to relax on vacation and enjoy the nice weather in peace? Sorry, this resort isn’t for you. Loudest place alive and you will get a headache. "

"We traveled as a party of 9 with ages ranging from 7-85\. The resort was very well laid out and everything was convenient. Lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. Overall, the staff was very friendly. There was an issue during checkout that was not handled well. It was unfortunate to end the vacation on that note but everything else was very nice."

"We just got back yesterday and spent four nights at the hotel. This was our first time. other reviews that I had read talked about an odor and there was a little bit of that I think because it’s so humid the drawers in the rooms have a musty smell, and I did smell what people have talked about as sewage odor a couple times, mostly when I was walking down the stairwell, but in general, there wasn’t any major issues with that. The staff were wonderful and very attentive and there was no high pressure to get us to do anything we didn’t want to do. We were happy about the buffet. It was very big with a lot of options. We went to two restaurants. The Indian restaurant was excellent. We also went to the steakhouse and my son is the only steak lover, but he enjoyed it a lot. They did a great job with entertainment throughout the day and evening. One benefit of booking through Expedia that I was not expecting was your own Expedia concierge person they took care of our reservations for us which I think would’ve been difficult. I heard people talking about how hard it was for them to make reservations, but we had no problem at all thanks to our Expedia concierge. The other benefit was that the pool chairs were actually marked and reserved for Expedia guests. This is a huge bonus, otherwise you have to get downstairs before 7:30 or all the prime spots are taken already. There were plenty of options to eat by the pools outside as well. Overall, we did have a very nice time. "
