Great place to stay

Posted 22-May-2016
The room was excellent and had a nice, comfortable couch which made it feel a little more like home. The breakfast was amazing as far as continental breakfasts go, and the hot tub/pool area was kept very clean. Plus, the hotel is close to the interstate highway and right down the road from the best Mexican restaurant in town!

Comfortable bed and very quiet while we were there. Staff was very nice. Even got a newspaper at our door. Parking area could be bigger.

Older motel but bed was nice.

Posted 01-May-2016
Only stayed one night, it was a place to rest for the next days drive. Had a king with two bathrooms, one handicap accessible. The side door leading to the outside by the vending machines was not locked, unsure if they lock it during the night? Staff friendly and helpful. Heat did not match the number, if it was on 67 it was probably 73, once I figured it out it was fine.

Comfortable 2 night stay in the April snow

Posted 28-Apr-2016
Pros: Location on route 66. Good breakfast.
Cons: The addition of a small fridge in the room.
Location: We appreciated the short walk in the snow to Mama Luisa's for an Italian dinner. We enjoyed the Route 66 museum at the Kingman visitors centre.
Easy stop on a driving trip. The trains nearby did not disturb our sleep.

Friendly staff. Terrible internet service. Rooms were small, very noisy. Old, uncomfortable bed. We had just come from a week of backpacking; your tent/sleeping bags/sleeping pads were better.

OK for overnight stay with earplugs

Posted 19-Apr-2016
Pros: It was easy to find off the Highway. You can park outside your room window, The free breakfast was a delightful. The eating area large and clean.
Cons: It is what it is, can't move or soundproof the rooms. Will bring earplugs next time
Location: Did not do much exploring as this was an overnight stay. The desk clerk did turn us on to an amazing Italian restaurant nearby within walking distance
I gave this a 3 star because it did provide a room for the night and great breakfast for a reasonable cost. The room was small and a wee bit cramped but fit our needs with minimal luggage for an overnight stay on our way to Santa Fe. The bad part was the trains that pass thru this part of town quite often during the night, which did interrupt my sleep. Thankfully no whistles, just engine noises. The redeeming factors are the price and the free breakfast, which is much better than most. The food and drinks were fresh and very tasty. It is an expanded "Continental" breakfast.

OK motel.

Posted 12-Apr-2016
Pros: Price and availablity.
Cons: Staff was friendly and helpful but they seemed very busy at times and they had limited power to resolve problems with reservations for specifc rooms.
Location: The staff recommended an Italian restaurant nearby that was nice and had good food. There are plenty of things to see and do nearby in Flagstaff.
This is an older style motel located on Route 66, but a little way from the center of town. Its interior seemed a little dated but clean. The full breakfast that was provided with the room was a little better than average. Seems to be a good place for a family travelling on a budget.

Kleines, sauberes Zimmer und leckeres Frühstück

Posted 14-Mar-2016
