Place was easy enough to find with adequate parking right outside. On going in there was a friendly welcoming greating and there was nothing to check-in. After check-in we were asked if would be having an evening meal which we accepted. We had opted for a larger double room and it was clean and tidy and what you would expect from a rural country inn. We stayed one night at the Victorian house as we had planned a last minute visit to the lakes due to particularly good weather forecast for this time of year. The staff were very welcoming; the room was as described ‘cosy’ and furnished beautifully. The breakfast was of a high standard with plenty of choice. We would definitely look to stay again, especially as it was such good value for money and right in the centre of the village.

This was our second stay at the Daffodil Hotel in Grasmere having previously stayed in February. The hotel is very clean and tidy with a very friendly and helpful reception staff. Had a fantastic stay at the Marymount hotel. My room 36 was a upgraded room new bathroom, massive king size bed. Very quiet and a fantastic view of the hills. Breakfast was really good loads of choices. And the food at night was good too. The staff a really nice. Shout out to Maria,Andy and Allana for making us feel so welcome.

Food was great worth the price! Whole team were fantastic from check in to check out. Accomodated us with a bigger room on the 1st before check in as we were booked in on the ground floor in needs with easy access room. really appreciated the care and attention to detail will be staying there again!

The hotel is a definite 11/10 it is stunning. The fact that it is only 2 minutes from the shops and 10 minutes walk to the lake makes it even better and the views are incredible. Breakfast was perfect as well and the staff were fantastic and so friendly and welcoming. Very highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.

Idyllic village pub with beautiful scenic views. Would highly recommend this place as there is plenty of walking trails on your doorstep. My wife and I booked 2 nights in this Bed & Breakfast establishment because we thought it looked fantastic and the reviews were excellent and we had promised ourselves a special break away from home that was something to remember. Lovely hotel and a short walk to Grasmere village. We had an executive King room which was very nice. Good size and spotless. Nice bar with reasonable prices (same food menu and prices as the restaurant but less formal and no need to book). We dined in the restaurant in the evening (need to book table in advance) and the service and quality of the food was very good. Portions were quite small but we didn't leave hungry and we didn't bother with starters as we had earlier had a quite big lunch...

Great hotel, great location and lovely staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Bus 591, 555 stops just outside the hotel and can take you anywhere whether it’s Windermere, Grasmere, Keswick all very easy to commute. Some great restaurants around. Staff extremely friendly at the reception. Breakfast top notch - 10/10 for Manuel who takes orders at the brekkie area , always smiling. Would highly recommend.
