Very welcoming staff, friendly, polite, helpful, couldn’t be nicer & the food was great! Bar, was well stocked, comfortable with the outside areas looking very welcoming, great for a summer stay. The room was nicely decorated, but a small double means a small double, the bed felt tiny. It is aging and a little rough around the edges, but it’s character runs deep, it’s atmosphere is just lovely and homely. If you like your hotels with character and charm, this is the place for you, if you are after standard, or uniform, or sterile, this is not your place.
