Overall disappointment. Appeared to be staff shortages which caused problems. In particular evening meal was dreadful. After placing order the food was on the table within a few minutes. Obviously pre prepared and then microwaved. Quality of food was also poor although breakfast was slightly better. Staff who were on duty seemed to lack training and be under pressure. For the cost of the stay we expected more. The local area was wonderful but the hotel accommodation was not.

The location was superb and the rooms very spacious, modern and comfortable. Despite being short staffed the staff were exceptional and went the extra mile to help make my elderly parents comfortable. To the extent of making them sandwiches when they couldn’t get in anywhere else. Superb can’t wait to go back.😀👍

This was our last stop for the night after a road triip around Scotland and it was lovely. The staff were really friendly, the Inn had delightful open fires in the bar and restaurant area and the decor was gorgeous.

I highly recommended.
We had a really enjoyable stay for 2 nights at this hotel. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The food in the restaurant was good. It’s not a big menu but we enjoyed the food we had.
